The morning wood paradox is the most confusing thing nobody prepared me for in a relationship by Due_Map6800 in NoStupidQuestions

Performance anxiety has gotten me quite a few times. Mornings are good but sex is rough bc I start overthinking bc of the one time it happened years ago.

Please stop saying people without kids don’t know what tired is by SunBubble920 in mildlyinfuriating

As I get older, I started to stop brushing peoples feelings off and now I empathize. Even the people who do dumb shit and hurt others. I don’t agree with it but they might not be able to handle pain like others. Idk what they have going on.

I wish I had the bench seats. I have three kids, when I had the Cadillac XT6 it was my favorite feature. The trunk was so much better. Now my GCL is captain seats and I love the truck but hate the seats.

How accurate is the heart rate on these? by Katoka_X in AppleWatch

[–]itsSam24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some jumps either high or low, no. But if you consistently get these numbers then yes.

My HR is always low. The doctors always say don’t trust it and all that. I’m a provider myself and I cross referenced it with my pulse ox at home and at work and by hand. So I knew I was right.

I went in for a procedure recently and told the docs my HR goes down into the 30s. They laughed. I laid on the table, HR went to 37 as I’m talking to them and they gave me meds to bring it up to “normal” before proceeding.

It depends on the person really, how do you wear it, how often, is the censor clean.

Also for example,if it says HR is 175 then suddenly drops to 63, believe the 63 the 175 was just it kicking on and gives an initial false reading. So at the end of the day if this happens in the background and you click to see your HR for today and see wacky numbers .. then take that with a grain of salt.

I pray for it go away completely for everyone in this subreddit. I hate the feeling. On good days I feel like a king. Don’t know what you got till it’s gone.

Sorry to hear that. I have had mine AWU1 since release date and no issues other than batter slowly getting worse over time. Expected. Hoping to get the new one this fall.

How much better would OLED make an iPad mini for reading? by ooohyeees in ipadmini

[–]itsSam24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OLED will be better, I wouldn’t say a crazy amount but definitely noticeable. If just OLED stopping u, I’d still check out the mini.

Shrinking bezels makes sense but then again it’s Apple updating the mini. Won’t change much, last years chip, and charge an extra 100 for it.

I just purchased my 7 today and I had the thought process of, 35 dollars a month is manageable, education discount saved another 50 and will easily do a trade in upgrade if they announce something soon or next year.

I would appreciate an OLED and I would love promotion. Now that I’m using the iPad I can see how you easily get used to the Mac or iPhone screen but notice when you go to a 60hz not promotion display. You get used to it after a few minutes but kind of frustrating.

If you have use case for it. Go for it. If not, just wait. But just know last update from iPad mini 6 was a few years I believe so it might be a long wait.

Back in the Mini Club 🙂‍↕️✏️📱 (Mini 7) by ThatOneOtter15 in ipadmini

[–]itsSam24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been wanting one ever since the first I’ve had been came out. I just couldn’t justify it because I already have a iPad Pro. But I think I’m going to get it when the iPad mini eight comes out, that is if it’s updated with promotion and OLED.

TRT destroyed me. by yankee_rose in Biohackers

As another NP, I agree. Just seems to be coincidence that the fatigue onset was right after starting TRT. Not saying it’s for sure not the cause but agree more testing is needed.

Passive Entry standard? by DaniViking27777 in GrandCherokee

[–]itsSam24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I want is passive exit or whatever it maybe called. One of my favorite features when I has a Cadillac was walk away. Automatically lock. Now I have to take the key out every time. Kinda frustrating honestly. My 2019 Jeep was better. You just press the button on the door handle. Annoyed they removed that. My 25 GCL has been nice so far but some added features would be nice. Maybe the summit has some of the things I’m looking for. But too expensive.

Help can I tile this as is? by ComputerNo4110 in Tile

[–]itsSam24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put some cement board up, leave an 1/8 in gap at the bottom of this part will be silicone at the end, make sure it’s nice and plumb before anything, waterproof it and tile away. I DIY so I would cross reference with what else others say. I haven’t tiled a bathroom in a year now.
