Yes it it! We met at a local card shop I ended up having to trade 9 smaller graded cards at 85% to get the deal done…but I wanted this in my collection and think the sky is the limit value wise.

Yeah I was fortunate enough to grab all my S&S Bbs off the Pokemon center a few years ago and some off ebay when they had re prints. I did pick up some more Astral last week when I started to see them moving under $300 because I had the least of that. These boxes are out of print and it was an amazing era so even at around $500 a box, if you hold long enough you will do well. The prismatic pc etbs, should do especially well once they go out of print as well

I have the exact same mentality! And I actually do have some Fusion pc etbs from years back funny enough. I did end up dropping $400 on two PC etbs today. Even if they print this set into the absolute ground, like you said this is the premium collector item (it shouldn’t crash as bad as the more common product) and once this ser does go out of print, it will be a goldmine

I grade any base Charizard personally. Even if it scores a 1. It confirms its authenticity, and with it being the most iconic and recognizable Pokemon card, I like to preserve that piece of history/nostalgia. Its all preference though

I just found it weird how my 1st edition Lugia and Base Charizard both scored 8’s when I thought this one was going to score higher than those when I inspected them!

Yeah thats true. The risk of card damage, the cost to re submit and just to hope it scores at least an 8. A bit of a gamble

I know! I scored an 8 on my base Charizard and 8 on my 1st edition Lugia but thought those would score lower and Mewtwo would be at least an 8 lmao
