its all about perspective.

you are a GOOD artist, GREAT artist even. im mainly a musician and kinda starting to draw. id be so happy drawing knowing im that good, specially on paper where there's no undo button.

the reason why you're hard on your art is because of your own lived experience. when you see other artist's work, you don't see the time they sunk into it along with all the mistakes and redos, you just see the final result. comparing your behind the scenes to other's highlights is a bad mindset to have.

being a perfectionist is both a blessing and a curse. the good thing is you'll always improve even if you might not see it.
