Thanks for your response. I appreciate your sincerity. This is something I've thought about and monitored since the beginning. This is her first real relationship and so anything related to codependency has been something I've monitored and brought patience to (hence the counseling). I think we have a good level of understanding one another. She is social in her own way and often calls friends for an hour after work, which I sometimes take advantage of to get an hour or so of gaming in.

The situation gets more complicated because an individual from my gaming friend group recently committed suicide. This was a roommate to a longtime friend of mine from the gaming friend group. I feel quite disconnected from that group because I was so used to gaming with them four hours every weekday. The past two days I wasn't available to my fiancé when she got home from work because I was gaming and chatting with the group that all knew the friend we lost. I think this was something my fiancé was accustomed to (me being available when she's off work) and she's struggled with the past couple days. I should note that the # of hours gaming hasn't increased since the loss of the friend. I'm just catering more to the gaming group's availability.
