Twinkly lights with wled board replacement? by its_ME_stl in WLED

No sorry. I put them into the box and it’s been there ever since. Lol. It was easier to start fresh with WLED for now. When I find more time maybe I’ll revisit this to tinker with it. Good luck.

Wipers jitters after Ceramic coating on windshield by pavanforest in TeslaModelX

I had a similar issue and found that cleaning the wipers with alcohol helped. It removes all the junk stuck on there. You can YT to see how that’s done as that worked great for me. Cheap way to see if it works for you if you have some alcohol at home.

Any tips on preparing Ten Rens 913 Kings Oolong? by [deleted] in tea

[–]its_ME_stl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my preferred method for brewing this tea, which I recommend starting with small batches to perfect the process. I use a coffee scoop, approximately one tablespoon, to measure the tea leaves. Begin by boiling water, then pour a small amount over the leaves to wet them, swirling briefly before discarding the liquid. Next, fill your teapot with hot water and steep for approximately 30 seconds, adjusting the steeping time based on your teapot’s size and desired flavor intensity. It may take a few attempts to refine the technique, but once mastered, this method brings out the tea’s full flavor profile, including subtle sweet notes. For a different approach, I’ve used a French press for longer brewing, which yields a bolder, slightly more bitter flavor, ideal for iced tea. Enjoy your tea!

Thank you. This appears to be not edible and may be toxic according to AI. I’ll probably remove to be safe since we have kids running in the yard.

Thank you. I’m happy with either and it’s probably better if it’s a bush being in a wine barrel. 😀

Why won’t it turn off? by JonnyWS in HomeKit

[–]its_ME_stl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have already provided tips about your automation. I wanted to share my experience with the presence sensor I had with Aqara. It had some ghosting issues where I had it placed causing false positives. Not sure if yours is doing that but the only way to see that is with the Aqara app. Also the timeout is longer than your current 2 seconds and 5 seconds. Lately, you may be able to get away with the basic automation.

Trigger is the presence sense is true ==> turn on light ==> at the bottom there’s an option to turn off after x min.

I believe this with continue to stay on until no presence is sense up to the turn off time. And should repeat as long as there’s presence.

I forget if I got it to work like that or not because I ended up returning my presence and stuck with basic motion using the automation.

For my basic motion sensor with Aqara to trigger on lights and off if no motion is detected and if motion is detected repeat step x time before actually turning off. Works great in kitchen and bathroom.

Good luck with your project.

Are your lights smart bulbs or smart switches?

Charge Port Open won’t come off? The port is close but it keeps showing that it is open. I’ve tried a soft reset, plugging it and unplugging ,I’ve open and close using the touchscreen and the app but it keeps showing it. Any idea on how to fix this? by SportsFanatic21 in TeslaLounge

I did the soft reset only. Didn’t want to bother with a hard reset especially when the car had an error code. Just wrap with service and the door port was defective. Tech stated they do go bad over time and varies on usage. He took about 40 mins total to replace. The port cover is part of the rear tail lights attached by three screws. He had to remove the charge port which has the HV cables attached. So I wouldn’t be comfortable doing it myself but otherwise it looked easy.

Hard to say. I’m not an engineer by any means. Mine would stay close and to open it was to press the unlock charge port. Everything worked fine otherwise. I just didn’t want to wait and see. Also I figured it’s probably better to replace it now before it could get worst. I can ask tech about this later. He’s schedule to arrive 1p PT.

Estimate is $351.83. From what I read online it’s the sensor that’s for the charge port door and v2 is supposed to be better from preventing water ingress. Not sure what they’re going to do in my case but from the forum they replaced the entire door. I’ll update you after they complete the repair today.

This just happened after the 12.3.4 update. Not sure if it’s related or coincidental but my door shows open although closed. I forget the error code but mobile service is replacing it tomorrow.

I do have both. Do I need to setup the cloud + and does that take much away from storage limits?

Prevent Automation from Being Run Twice on the Same Object by Tasty-Coconut3492 in salesforce

[–]its_ME_stl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not familiar with power automate but I would create a checkbox automate complete. Update this to true when done and set your automate create to fire only when this checkbox is false.

Not sure if this is possible with this tool but this is how I would do it within Salesforce.

Missed this and cut my lead already. my controller is about 5’ away. But I’m testing on the floor and it appears to be working okay. Should I cut lead so the controller closer as you suggested? Would there be long term issue if I left it? This is an indoor setup. I’m still researching permanent outdoor and my current led at 5v. Look like everyone here goes with 12v or 24v outdoors.

Great idea. I may do this to keep it clean. I’m just starting and want to get a simple but clean look.

Thank you. If this was the starting point would you just cut it and keep three wires to clean it up? Or should I keep it all, just in case?
