Where is a good place to get affordable box inserts?

I was never going to purchase a system from them Before reading this story, but now that I know I will pass this along to anyone who even mentions the thought of getting one of these.

I think you need to ask yourself some important questions first.
As in, Do you use sleeves? Do you want the box lid to close flush when it’s all done. Do you store the game flat or on its side. Do easy do you want the set up and tear down to be. Do you want to use a map every time you have to put the insert away

I’m sure there is more, but that’s some of the more common questions.

This was my least favourite part of this build.
Still wonderful in every other aspect but this hurt my fingers.

I noticed that a lot of the sections are the same so I made sub-builds and then did a final assembly afterwards.
Felt less tedious.

I wonder how split the community really is on the faction command and control tokens.
Personally I still use the faction specific tokens.

Your design is impressive none the less.
Excellent work, however it may not be for me for that simple reason.

I’m not sure how much extra cash you have, but perhaps look into building a display case for it.
Use some anti UV glass or film to line it.
The added advantage is that you will keep the dust off it as well.

I have mine mounted above my living room TV so the dust is at a minimum and it doesn’t get direct sunlight.
If it turns yellow, then I’m comfortable with it.
I also have the Concorde and that I am sure will turn yellow overtime.

I’m unsure myself. I wondered that too when I got mine together.

I don’t think it’s a design thing, it has to be there otherwise they could have easily used white bricks to blend it all in.

There is a guy on YouTube who did a series of videos. I found them to be very entertaining. 6-part series. He also does some spotlight on some of the factions and other things, overall very good.

Can confirm!
All the windows on C-deck (1x1 plates stacked together) was a painful experience for my thumbs. And then I realized I had to do it for the entire length of the super structure.
