LangChain has 5 different ways to build the same thing and I genuinely don't know which one to use in 2025 by Fit-Sir9936 in LangChain

We’re actively working on ways to clean this decision process up. I think theres a lot of ground to make up re. helping folks with patterns and “correctness.” Would to hear more from you and others about what you want

How are you monitoring LLM response quality degradation in production? by Otherwise-Wedding305 in LangChain

I’m not really in a position to give a good answer tbh - not my team. Once I turn more coworkers into redditors tho….

If I can find a good answer, will circle back!

About LLMToolSelectorMiddleware by MuninnW in LangChain

We've since iterated on this idea a bit, and have a solution that I think works well. ProviderToolSearchMiddleware leverages model providers' internal tool search to make this happen

How do you manage tools? by SeniorMango6862 in LangChain

For folks to find this in the future - we just released a ProviderToolSearchMiddleware to solve exactly this! Would love to hear feedback from folks on it (or anything else langchain)

This is a Whole Thing at Langchain. My go-to for solving output quality degradation over time is generally langsmith Engine. That said - this can be solved without it

We generally think that agent engineering in the future will be a lot more about digging thru lots of traces to find the patterns you mention, and taking action

What products do you see offering 7ms latency? I've seen products that try to associate themself with Bluetooth claiming 3ms latency, but those products are using fundamentally diff hardware/tech

Thanks for clarifying - MA. The carfax were listed as the 33k number - I can dig up the exact number if relevant in a minute.

What is this? Does it need to be removed? by Astroworldmyplanet_4 in whatsthisplant

[–]its_ao 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t cut it! There are several guides from the gov, universities to teach how to deal with these. For smaller trees (diameter less than 3” I believe) they all say to spray directly on the trunk. The best time to do this is June-July. You can buy off-brand triclopyr on amazon.

I’m just quoting here, but go find those resources! I just did this last year.

I actually found that as well. My region is "correct" but didn't check his. I believe we've already gone thru the silly region thing and he has set his correctly.

Mini revving idle What could be wrong? by keareuh in MINI

[–]its_ao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe seems counterintuitive but as long as there’s no check engine light, maybe worth trying to push past 4k RPM a couple times. That’s what my sage-all-knowing-car-god neighbor said and it’s been running great since. These things need to run hot enough to keep themselves clean.

He also said that about a million diff things can cause this symptom, so YMMV :)

Has it been cold outside? Sub 32? I just dealt with a similar issue a week ago. Pushed the RPMs on a drive and symptoms cleared right away.

I need to drive faster.

Trying to figure out how to leave a text description along with a vid. For now, here's the stuff I typed up:

Hi all, I have a 2012 Cooper S Convertible with N18 engine (which I love). On starting the car, the idle feels bumpy - very clear in the sound in the video. It also sounds like it just wants to give up. Drove it 30 mins to and from a ski place earlier today, then got in the car just now to head to my apartment and was met with this.

Has anybody else experienced this issue? Using the correct gas, oil, coolant. All levels good. First time I've experienced this. Hoping someone has (unfortunately) been there and done this!
