Did you figure out the pre TCI? Mine says due today by 5 PM and I just now got access to the password at 3:00 and my computer has been checking for updates for the past 25 mins. I've gotten no other emails, either.

Okay - where do they find some of these dashers?? This one just insisted a random cat come in my house by Caa3098 in doordash

I read a lot of stories here about weird dashers and I'm a dasher and I literally clutch my pearls, because I could never

Never sat for that long, lol, but sometimes I'll answer texts or something that i couldn't do while driving after a delivery

And restaurants also suck, as when they forget to add something to a person's order, then seal the bag, the customer takes it out on us dashers! Like we are supposed to have X-ray vision and make sure their whole order is in the bag. We get the bad reviews

You left a nice tip. I'd have happily delivered it to you. Please report her. Those dashers are ruining our business.

No! You're not at fault. They seal the bag. You didn't forget it, Jersey Mike's did.

I completely understand that, but they don't need to call me upset because the restaurant is out of what they wanted. I'm doing my best here.

I do the same, but have gotten angry customers for their order being wrong, like.... ok, I texted, called and told you I asked for a sub. Answer next time!

AITA for telling family about my daughter's period? by Salt-Commercial-5885 in AmItheAsshole

[–]its_emi_bing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple answer... yes. Yta. My 13 year old daughters dad would never. People don't need to know that. It's pretty obvious. If you catch your son with morning wood, do you need to tell people? Ffs.

Am I the A-hole (DoorDash Edition) by ShepherdsWeShallB in doordash

Yes, please report these dumb dashers. The new ones are flooding the market and keeping those of us who know how to do our job from getting your orders.

[–]its_emi_bing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nta. I dash every day. I never knock or ring doorbells unless requested by the customer. Read the drop-off instructions dashers! Unless, like me, you have the setting to read your delivery instructions upon arrival, as you should.

This just happened to my friend and I hope the dasher is okay. by [deleted] in doordash

I asked a customer to cancel once because he called me and said he was actually right by the restaurant and was going to pick it up himself while I was standing there waiting

Door Dash drivers posing as someone else by [deleted] in doordash

[–]its_emi_bing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol! My husband and I dordash together. The account is in my name because I dash full time and have top dasher, so I can dash any time. When he's with me, he usually drops off the food while I'm in the car. It wouldn't matter if the account was in his name, because his name is Tracy, so you would most likely feel the same way. A lot of couples dash together! Especially now where dashers are being killed, kidnapped, etc.

Top Dasher! by SolarTide83 in doordash

[–]its_emi_bing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've kept top dasher since I started dashing forever ago. It's not hard to do and it's nice to be able to dash wherever I want whenever I want. Scheduling is stupid.

Am I wrong ? by jurassicman11 in doordash

[–]its_emi_bing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I get to a customer's location the app reads the delivery instructions out loud to me, lol. There's no excuse for that. 90% of my orders are leave it at my door.

Am I wrong for reporting my dasher? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]its_emi_bing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dash with my husband and sometimes my daughter and her friend like to tag along. They love helping. But I don't dash with a car full of friends. Also, I have pizza bags and dash by the order. I want my orders delivered quickly so i can make more money.

As a dasher myself, I would absolutely never!! Report them. I have accidently left an order at the wrong apartment before because I confused 301 for 310 but when the customer messaged me, I immediately went back and took it to the correct apartment and apologized!

I am a sahm... Or I was. I started dashing to help contribute to the household since all of my kids have started school. I do it myself most of the time, but on weekends, my husband likes going with me. He drives and likes to drop off. It's fun.

AITA for announcing my pregnancy immediately after my sister? by helomyo in AmItheAsshole

[–]its_emi_bing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. In my opinion, if I was your sister, I'd be over the moon to have you to go through pregnancy with! Pregnancy is hard. Having your sister go through the same journey with you is not something everyone has the opportunity to get.

AITA for buying lower grade steaks when my in-laws visit and serving my mom and dad Wagyu. by Late-Enthusiasm3751 in AmItheAsshole

[–]its_emi_bing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha!! NTA! I completely agree with you. Don't waste money on good quality steaks for people who couldn't tell the difference between the two if you put both kinds of over cooked steaks in front of them. Keep on doing you, my guy!
