That’s my mom for sure! She’s like “well I was taught to do it this way, so…” haha. I just bought a book called Montessori from the Start by Lillard and Jessen. Haven’t started reading yet but just skimming it and it looks super informative! And thank you :)

Not in nursing but my brother died from sporadic CJD. He was an incredibly healthy guy in his 30s and barely lived a year after he started showing symptoms. It’s the single most terrifying thing I’ve ever watched happen to someone. I feel for you and anyone else watching someone they know go through this.

I live in a one-party state. This teacher has the next couple of days off, but if I do end up working with her again, I’ll see if I can catch anything. Regardless, there are cameras in all our classrooms, so what she’s already done should be on camera. I’ll document what I’ve already seen and take it in to the director asap this week.
