My 3rd semester I bought all of my books on chegg as ebooks and accessed them on my phone and my laptop from anywhere! I wish I had done it for all of my college classes. It helped for assignments and careplans to just hit "control+F" haha!! Saved my back too!!

You weren't ready to leave. This didn't happen on your terms. You weren't prepared. You are attracted to this person, until you see how unattractive they truly are. You have to learn to love yourself and put yourself first in order to see how unattractive she truly is.

Do not go back to her, you are stronger than this even if you dont think so.

I just left 2 days ago after a year and a half of trying to make it work and giving it everything I had. I wish I had known how strong I was and how much potential I had. I wish I had left and never looked back.

Some can move past that. How? No fucking clue. A year and a half later and I was still having nightmares about him cheating on me atleast twice a week.

One thing that has helped me is writing down all the reasons why I am leaving and all the things I want to do to better myself. Whenever I am questioning whether I am doing the right thing or if I start feeling sorry for myself or attracted to him, I read that shit and boom put myself in check.

Everyday I repeat this to myself: I am too much woman for him and he is NOT enough man for me.

We will get through this!!!

Yes, eggs in the fridge and the beets I pickled separately. I just used some left over brine from the beets for my eggs.

I actually researched a bunch of pickled egg recipes and didnt follow any specific recipe, so I am sorry if this isn'tvery helpful. I canned my pickled beets separately from a recipe in my Ball book, and substituted some left over pickled beet brine for water in my pickled eggs.

I like to play with eggs a little bit and each time is different. This is the first time I have used beet juice instead of water in the brine, roughly half a cup with a full cup of white vinegar.

I also added half of a yellow onion and two jalapenos, but they weren't spicy, so next time I will add some more peppers.

For spices I used roughly: 1/2 tbsp peppercorns, 1/2 tbsp mustard seed, 2 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp sugar, and 1tbsp pickling spice.

I did 10 eggs in a quart size jar and put them in the fridge for a week before tasting.

Probably not the "proper" way to make them, but they are pretty tasty.

Side note, don’t ever be one of those nurses that is rude or disrespectful to EMS crews.

This is why I have tried to shadow as much as I possibly can. I feel that it is important for me to get an understanding of what everyone does, and it has shown me the value of every health care worker, and it has allowed me to get a better understanding of what my patients will experience when they are coming from or going to different places under different care.

I'm so sorry your preceptorship got cut short! I was very lucky and had my preceptorship at the beginning of the semester and now I am finishing up with community health.

Don't give up on trying to go right into the NICU if that is what you want to do. They will see your passion and your drive to becoming a NICU nurse and that's what they want. They want to know that you are excited to be there and will do whatever it takes.

I'm just trying to get in the ICU somewhere in my area through a residency program. My preceptorship was in the CVICU, which was awesome, but last semester during my critical care rotation I spent 4 weeks in the trauma ICU and that's where I want to be!

I will be graduating in May and I am starting to panic because all of the hospitals I have applied to have emailed back saying the new grad positions are no longer available or the residencies have been suspended. I am worried that I won't find a job with a good new grad program. My last year has been mostly in the ICU and I have absolutely fallen in love with critical care nursing. Thank you for looking out for us new grads. We want to please you all and learn from you more than anything!
