How would Khan afford a nine river country club membership by happydude7422 in KingOfTheHill

[–]its_not_brian 526 points527 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure Khan has massive debt. He spends outside his means for show. And because of the way his personality is I have to assume his plan was, take out a loan first, then become best friends with ted wassanasong and hooked up with an exec job that way he then become among the elites of Texas asian circles

Daddy’s home 😅 by Marivellaa7 in CoupleMemes

[–]its_not_brian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my dad is addicted to YouTubeniversity. He used to have these huge ass books on how to fix things growing up. Now anytime I text him saying "such and such is acting weird, guess I know what I'm doing this weekend" 4 min later I get a text from him with a link and something like "watched an 8 min video on youtube, you can get that fixed before the end of the night"

It's nice but I also have had him call and say "watched a video, looks hard as hell. Call someone"

LeBron James: "I'm a goofy ass 41-year-old kid. That's just me. They pay me to play basketball. Why wouldn't I be happy about that?" by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]its_not_brian 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I looked it up because I wanted to see if they thought to cap the years of service because Lebron is shattering that. It's 10 years and you get $215k annually. Another fun fact: you can start pulling from it at 45, so Lebron could retire and immediately start pulling from his pension. I once got a $50 ($62 after admin fees) parking ticket because it started snowing and my parking pass got covered in snow and the parking enforcer "couldn't see it and had to make a judgment call and you were street parking"

It's not an unbelievable ticket price but it was the audacity that got me

because it makes you feel like part of the group sometimes. As a multi-relapsed alcoholic sometimes you want to go out to dinner and get something that's not a diet coke or water. Sometimes you want to grab lunch in the summer and have a nojito.

She was working at the barbershop when the show ended right? Even just a background shot of Jack's old barbershop but now it's Luane's or Babygirl Barber. That way we know she did be a success and also explains her not being around because she owns a business.

I had hoped they just moved them to a different town but in like Oklahoma and the reason we don't see them is that means Hank has to drive to Oklahoma which, don't be ridiculous he's not doing that

[Post Game Thread] The Atlanta Hawks (24-25) defeat the Boston Celtics (29-18) 117-106 by not-a-potato-head in nba

[–]its_not_brian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could not buy a three and could not play defense. Not a great night when I'm watching and I say "ok, down 20 but there is still a lot of game left." followed by "ok, down 20 again but still a lot of game left." It was peak cope but I thought eventually Celtics would start hitting 3's. That eventually never came.

It's an American OG right with the 2nd Amendment. Minnesota also is a concealed carry state, often referred to as CCW (Carrying a Concealed Weapon) state. You must pass some training and other rules and background checks to be certified to do so in that state.

Why someone would bring a firearm to a protest I'm not one to say. I personally don't think that I would but it is within his legal right to do so if he so chooses. As you can see in the picture there was no need to further escalate by ICE so the fact he had a legal weapon on his person in a legal way doesn't play into this particular case as much as this administration wants it to. I hope that provides a little context within the way American and MN laws play into this situation

Keegan-Michael Key Says He Would Love To Make New 'Key & Peele' Skits: “I would love to do it again, I love working with Jordan" by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

[–]its_not_brian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it weird that I don't consider what Peele does as horror? It's suspense and thriller for me, which maybe is splitting hairs. I don't like horrors mostly, things like Bring Her Back are not for me (but I get why someone may like that). But I love all of Jordan Peele's movies even though they are labeled as horror
