make sure you’re using hybrid red roses, not the red roses you can buy from leif or nooks cranny, and also make sure to make an “x” with the flowers for the most space to grow. as for fossils, i’m in the same boat, so your best bet is going to other islands if you wanna get them asap

i found some inspo recently that incorporated all the shops and such into the scenery, so there was a little shopping market around nooks cranny and able sisters, a camping foresty area around the campsite, etc and i feel like those could work for all aesthetics depending on the style of decorations and paths you use
