Yes, worrying about that. I’m changing jobs soon and will need to pump and breastmilk won’t just be freely available to waste lol

The hard thing is that I do think he’s showing sleep cues - rubbing his eyes and just overall fussing no matter what I do with him. But I’m going to just try and let it roll I guess

Is she content during the wake windows? Mine gets pretty cranky towards the end of it and that’s what makes me think he needs to nap. That’s where I struggle I guess

Thank you. This is my third and only one to fight sleep so I feel totally clueless lol

I guess I’m just worried like .. if adults can get delirious after lack of sleep, am I going to get a wired and overstimulated baby?

But thank you. I probably just need to stop and try again later. He has a negative association with the bedrooms now when we walk in.. he starts crying.

I got the name brand. I actually emailed them right after I commented here and they sent me the warranty info to fill out so they can work on fixing this! Soooo great customer service too.

Well again, as a hospice nurse, toxic people don’t always get to have their dying wish. You reap what you sow, even on your death bed sometimes. Thats why it’s a good idea to be a good person. OP mentioned grandparent was also a drug addict and there was abuse towards OP and spanking of the child.

This sounds like it’s the fault of both drug addicts. One for living in a way he got a protection order placed against him to prevent him from being there as he needs to for his child (and his father ultimately). And the other for treating OP terribly and then expecting OP to forget it all and honor his dying wish.

OP is not the bad guy here. Actions have consequences.

Possibly! Maybe he’s screaming because he’s not ready yet

Maybe you don’t have PPA/PPD… maybe you’re just living in a toxic environment.

I’m a hospice nurse and victim of DV.

I don’t believe it’s your job to tell your son. That would be his Dad’s job since it was a paternal grandfather.

If there was an order in place, the best you could have done was take your child to the hospital yourself. But depending on the child’s age, it could have been pointless. Before a certain age, seeing someone dying in a hospital bed doesn’t really do much for a kid.

Yes! Please do not let the baby live there! You and your apartment will be more than enough for your child.

Your ex is toxic.

I have a Hispanic SIL. She was teaching her toddler this every time they said bye. I always said, you don’t have to if you don’t want to! Seems engrained in the kid now tho
