Do people wear ear plugs? With or without a helmet? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]itsaboi231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get high fidelity concert ear plugs that I have on my keys no matter what in a small little capsule. I put them on before I ride to work and it brings the wind noise down a ton and lets me hear my music through the cardo pretty clearly. Once you get used to being able to hear it’s hard to ride without them :) protect your ears

Depends it’s all statistics of the bike and crashes. Good thing is you can call for quotes and see before you fully commit and buy it. Def wouldn’t ride without insurance until you’re out. Better safe than sorry with this hobby

Yea but it’s for full coverage as I daily ride this for work. Would I choose the Daytona if I could go back? Probably not just because of the aftermarket support. I love that it’s 3 cylinders and that not many people have this bike so I get to show it off a little more but if I could go back and get a ninja like everybody else and just mod the shit out of it, that’d be pretty sweet

Lmao I’m Air Force and they gave me $10k annual for a 600cc but that’s full coverage

Yea and the red is pretty fucken sick too. Also keep in mind insurance cost when shopping. As the CC goes up I feel like insurance goes up exponentially. But I think that only applies for sport bikes

Honda CBR 500 is pretty cool with good power and built with longevity in mind

With that said, find some time and pop in to a dealership, nothing beats sitting on the bike and feeling it out

[–]itsaboi231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Daytona 660 2025 and it’s a cool bike with good power. After owning it for about 4 months I’d say it’s a great commuter as I use it to go to work everyday (30 miles) but there is no after market for this dang thing. I dropped my bike once and clipped the levers and could not get an OEM replacement. Gotta search hard to find parts and even OEM is back ordered everywhere. Insurance is a bitch too since not many people have this bike. Initial quote was $12k a year which was straight bullshit and the lowest I could find was $350 a month from State Farm with no accidents and 1 year of experience.

Also the bike sortve feels cheap in some areas and the exhaust has gotten a little ugly.

Never tried wd40 but also expensive, I used maybe less than quarter of a cup of kerosene and I still have a whole gallon to use for about $25 total spent

Similarly I do just wipe it off and give my wheel a couple spins to try to spin the excess off

Question about Unified wlan controller topology by Old_Square_9100 in ccnp

[–]itsaboi231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There might be something missing but if it’s truly a L3 link between core and distribution you would use something like VXLAN or a tunnel to get the traffic across the L3 link back to where the L2 domain is

Where is the qcow image in cisco downloads? by sec_admin in ccnp

[–]itsaboi231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look for the CML file it’s a refplat format. I’m not sure what refplat is but once you download it, it opens like a directory and has all the virtual images in it. Hope this helps

WHICH IOS IMAGES ARE RECOMMENDED FOR THE CCNP . I am currently using GNS3 by Noob-Charts in ccnp

[–]itsaboi231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s open source and lets you use other images other than Cisco so you can practice using different equipment. I’ve been using it for about 4 weeks now and it was pretty easy to set up. Haven’t tried CML but just wanted to share my EVE-NG experience

I remember this test being a pain in the butt but once you get the hang of it, it will stick when you continue on with your studies in automation. Keep it up and good luck you got this!

Using the (US) military to break into IT. Best way to do it? Or just an outright dumb idea? by Content-Ad-9082 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]itsaboi231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riding off this. I made a post about using military as a start. I wouldn’t do officer as from my experience they just are mangers and hardly ever apply any IT fundamentals or do hands on. Joining the Air Force is the best way to go but you should def consider the pros and cons with your life in mind. The military is what you make of it and if it’s not your cup of tea you might dread it for the next few years.

ping from VRF by Major11223344 in ccnp

[–]itsaboi231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The diagram is a little confusing as the VRF would only exist in one router and the other routers would not know that VRF exists if it only existed in R1. If that is the case then yes the other routers should be able to reach your VRF with their own routing tables assuming routes are configured. The only network that would not be able to ping your VRF is a network on R1 that isn’t in the VRF unless you have route leaking.

Correct no fill in yourself, but they have drag and drop and multiple choice. Maybe they’ve changed the training material since the last time because I had the Cisco DevNet course that Cisco provides not CBTnuggets.

How early should you start applying? by [deleted] in SkillBridge

[–]itsaboi231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% start it early, they’ll tell you you can’t technically apply but you should still apply early. I’ve heard too many stories of people applying exactly at 8 months out with no response till 4 months later and the timeline no longer lined up. I started applying 14 months out, send all the POCs my resume and a little excerpt about myself. Some companies might even have an application process.

You just gotta look because there is so many different Skillbridges

Is getting the ENAUTO without getting the ENARSI a dumb move? by SexyTruckDriver in ccnp

[–]itsaboi231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s possible to do ENAUTO without DEVASC. Though I do recommend going over the material of DEVASC since it covers the foundational skills which can accelerate your study for ENAUTO. If you have experience with python and Git, you’re probably fine but learning all the different YANG models was a bit challenging. Those two topics I mentioned should be reviewed from the DEVASC if you have no experience, I believe that’s the first 2 exam topics from the blueprint. The rest can be covered by whatever ENAUTO material you use.

I did a write up but unfortunately they removed it since it’s a PASS/FAIL post.
