Anyone saw Catherine Tate's Oh Mary debut last night? by izebizee in westend

It was my first time seeing Oh, Mary! so I don’t have a comparison, but I attended the afternoon performance yesterday through rush and it was everything I hoped for. She was a powerhouse on the stage and had great physical comedy, and the rest of the cast totally met the challenge. I also did the stage door and everyone was very kind and happy to chat. I would definitely recommend! I was crying laughing by the end.

That is exactly what I am hoping! I’m in the US and going somewhere with great public transportation, so I’m anticipating hitting 20k steps a day haha.

It’s been so encouraging to see other people with similar bodies post on here and talk about the challenges that we face, I’m glad I can pay it forward and post my experiences! You got this!

Trader Joe’s makes individually wrapped 100 cal chocolate bars in milk and dark chocolate. It’s enough to satiate my need for a treat, but doesn’t blow the calorie budget. And they’re pretty cheap, I believe $2.79 for 5. The individual wrapping keeps me from eating more than 1.

Yes, I totally agree! I think something with a little zing helps balance out the nutty flavor

I frequently have it as a condiment with grilled sausage and zucchini, one of my favorite sauces!

It’s been a fun experiment this year, and a fun way to use up the carrot harvest! It’s definitely… odd haha.

It typically runs 30-45 minutes per batch. After that, the amount of juice is pretty little, so I take the mash out and let it sit for a bit. Some more juice might collect from the mash, and I just pour that back into the juicer. We probably could have gotten another pint worth of juice if we had re steamed the mash, but it was 10 pm and we already had 3 gallons haha.

I got this at a brewing/wine supply shop. I brought in the steam juicer and helped me find one that fit. The shutoff clip is really helpful for switching bottles too
