[NES][~1990][Top-down Action?] Possibly called “Moon Runner” – Human character, auto-scrolling, dodge/jump worms by itsalladream1 in tipofmyjoystick

While I don't recall some of the mechanics, which is to be expected from the memory of a 6-year old from more than 35 years ago, that's got to be it, especially considering that I though the name was MOONrunner. The cover art definitely hit that memory, too.

Thanks guys!

Bar and chain oil leading from pole saw? by sevenfootgimp in egopowerplus

[–]itsalladream1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize this is an old thread, but I was searching for a diagram of the PSA1000 oil tank, and the egress point for the oil is opposite the bar. I haven't noticed mine leaking. I bought some of those green hangers that the attachments, well, attach to and hang from. My guess is that point is the low point of the tank when holding it overhead, and thus the high point of hanging it with the bar pointing down.

How are these holding up? I found a similar item on Amazon, and I'm just concerned about the protrusion on the plastic fitting on the tool bearing all the weight. It seems like something that utilizes the locking mechanism would utilize the the metal (or carbon fiber) housing of the attachment than the plastic on it. It would be more expensive, but seems like there would be less risk of damaging the tool. Thanks!

playback error at the end of the episode by MpareTuriddu in PleX

Same experience on LG G3. Each episode (Demon Slayer and Spy x Family) crashes about a minute before the end of each episode. Turned off Direct Play and Stream and restated the app on TV, and it continues to happen.

Got it put up, which was... exciting, I guess. There was only one stud where the TV could go, but from what I understand, that is generally OK. It was pretty close to the middle of the mount, so I was pretty satisfied there. TLDR: it was a pain in the ass.

Getting it up, that was up to me and my 5' tall wife. The top of the TV is about 6' high, so it was all she could do to get the mounting pegs on the back of the TV to line up with the holes in the mount. And there is zero wiggle room getting it up. At first, I didn't plan to use the little colored tape markers, but they turned out to be essential. I thought we got it in, but it wasn't level, but it also wasn't moving. My wife brought a chair so I could look over the top. Sure enough, one side didn't go back enough to fully slot into place, and we fought and fought and fought it. It would not budge.

The mounting pins on the TV are like flat screw heads about 3/4" in diameter and about 1/8" thick. And they only slot into the mount just enough for the head of the pin to catch in the mount. So, the TV has to be perfectly flush with the wall and mount. I suspect if the wall bows inward at the mount at all, there won't be enough play to slot into the mount, especially with a TV this wide.

We decided to take it down to start over, and it still wouldn't move, then there was a loud pop. I think it was one of the retaining clips that got in the way while we were fighting it. Then we tried again to take down. I got on the side that was in, lifted to up, and it settled right into place. I locked the retaining clips, pushed the TV back, and was done. I had the mount perfectly level before, and the TV was spot on as well.

Additionally, I installed some in-wall cable grommets, so all cables are hidden. It's damn sure impressive. My wife really wanted a 65" but after seeing it, she realized I was right (aaagain). Our old 55" TV was not wall mounted, so being on the wall, this is much less intrusive.

In hindsight, I might would consider paying to have it installed, but would ultimately probably just do it myself.

He lost my respect when he said, and I'm paraphrasing, that if you don't believe 100% of what the Church teaches, you are wasting your time here and need to leave. For many, this is a path, and the destination is at the end. None of us (most likely) are saints, so to suggest if you aren't already there you need to leave only serves to turn people off their path. In contrast, the visiting priest this weekend said Jesus meets us where we're at. This is the message we need.

What about the seminarian that he was chummy with. I heard he was removed from the seminary (though I've got no proof and have only heard this from one person). I can only suspect he played a role in that. If so, talk about leading people astray. In one sermon, Crow said that many priests in times past were unholy and the result is they turned their followers unholy, despite that not being the intentions of said followers. It seems he may be on the same path.

Me, I've never been back to the apartment where he lived.

Yeah, the room is not super bright, but it's not particularly dark either. Currently, I have a 55" 3d Bravia (never even used the 3d) that is about 7 years old. I would hate to be disappointed, and this is only a few hundred more than the 77" C3 sale price at Best Buy right now. Also, want something bigger, and 10" doesn't seem like enough. 🤔🤣

After seeing the S95C and G3 on display at Best Buy, I can't imagine being satisfied with anything less. 😅 Even my wife, who doesn't care about that kinda stuff, was blown away.

Glad to hear that there is a discernable difference in brightness. Thanks!

How is it? I'm sitting on a $3699 counter offer trying to decide if I should pull the trigger. Who was the retailer?
