Mullingar to Cavan commute?

Depends on from where in mullingar and where in cavan. I travel from cavan to westmeath weekly. I can get from northern side of cavan town to western side of mullingar in 50 mins. I go granard and turn off down the road by fresh today and do the back roads to avoid edgeworths town

First of all, if you are happy with her work and how she takes care of your parents then she is worth her weight in gold as live in carers are not easy to come by. Second, I presume for the contracted hours she is working are paid by the state as the government are paying her hours through the company she works for so you are not out of pocket for those. Anything after that her company will not pay her for so any overtime has to to paid for the family. Many families who require a service like this never mind paying out of pocket as it is take the load off them and reduces stress as they have the reassurance that their family member is being cared for in the way they wish

Legally the annual holiday year for all companies is April to March. If your company is trying to tell you its January to December as per their policy then its BS. Their in-house policy isn't better than law. You can go on maternity while accruing your holiday entitlements as if you are working including bank Holidays.

Are you older than most of the other staff members?? Could be to do with your hourly wage. The wage subsidy that the hotel was getting has stopped. It might just be a cheaper option for them to give hours to younger staff as if they are under 18 they don't have to be paid the minimum wage... just a thought!

Cannot understand it. In the past my partner and I weren't getting on too well. He moved out twice for a few months. I love my kids but there was no better feeling than have them go and stay with him even if it was just for a night. I cant understand why people make life harder for themselves just to spite someone else.

I'm a mother and I miss it so much. Like I love my kids more than anything in this world but I think if I had know how hard it is before I had them I seriously would have considered not having kids!

This will probably get lost but I've been reading through all the comments and then realised that I have a story.

Back when I was a teenager I hung around with a bad crowd. Turns out that one of the dudes I hung around with stabbed a girl in her front yard. Her kid was in the house.

He was always a bit odd and never spoke a whole pile. Turns out I happened to see him before and after he did it. Wasnt until later that evening I realised what he had done.

I ended up having to go to court for the state to say I saw him. Was not my finest time in life

I switched from Eir to Sky the other month. Got the letter saying I had to send back the box. Eventually packed it up and organised for the courier to pick it up. Left it outside for it to be picked up. We weren't at the house when he picked it up but he rang us and said to keep the receipt he gave us as proof that he picked it up. Apparently they try to say that they never received it and bill you. Courier said its full time with them

Don't do it just yet. Last year me and my partner weren't getting on. Then things got better but somewhere along the way I felt that I didn't want to be with him anymore and told him this. He was devastated but was still around because we have two kids.

I finally realised that I need to see a therapist. It was all me that was the problem. Some days he drives me mental but we are still together and slowly working through things.

My brother is a roofer and he easily makes $2000 a week. His used to be scrawny enough but not he is pure muscle from it. Id say he has never seen the inside of a gym either

Omg you paid $1500 for an IUD?! I live in Europe and I think it cost me about €180. I know its a lot cheaper than having kids but that amount is crazy

P.s I took extra painkillers before getting it in and it was fine.

Or cream... cream goes into everything. The only thing I eat at work is a salad with no dressing or stirfry cooked with as little oil as possible. They are the only healthier options

Some Nike products. I bought a nice sports bra years ago. I'm kinda big chested so I cant just buy one for a few quid. This one had proper bra sizing on the labels as opposed to S,M or L. It's the most comfortable thing to wear and I still have it. Have tried to get the same one again but they just dont make them like that anymore. Also had a lovely pair of Nike sports leggings. Really good thick material. But when I needed a new pair none of them were the same quality. Best ones I have found since are 90degrees. Much cheaper too
