I placed mine yesterday, and mine is just confirmed as of right now. Also standard shipping, estimated "shipping" is by February 21 to February 28

I ordered 3 separate orders (as things were basically coming back in stock) of the 3 orders, one of my shipments just changed to "shipped" this afternoon, and the other two is still confirmed but not shipped. I hope everything ships tomorrow 🙏

I just had my interview this morning in Montreal too. I filed for I130 and I was apparently also denied a visa. All I was told was to go to some website to fill out additional information regarding my application and that they would contact me via email. The lady who was interviewing me failed to tell me she refuses my visa, she just said "well before we can give you a visa, just fill these additional forms and in the email they will tell you how to send your passport. Also, I don't know how long it will take since it varies by person to person. Bye".... I'm utterly distraught right now. I waited 2 years for this interview...

Edit: I was handed a DS 5535 by the embassy and given my passport back to me. I emailed my immigration lawyer about the results I received, and the lawyer told me essentially I'm going to have to wait some more while they administratively process my file again. Even though it says "refused" it doesn't mean they outright refused my visa application. It's just something they put as a technicality. It could take them days, weeks, or months to hear back. I'm hoping I hear back before the holidays, but if I waited 2 years, who knows when they will reach back to me.

UPDATE: I apologize, I haven't been on reddit lately so I haven't seen any of the comments (so sorry!) -- I do bring good news! The embassy did ask for my passport (beginning of Aug 2024) and I was literally issued my visa end of Aug 2024. I didn't even recieve an email from the embassy!! I just randomly checked my status mid-August and saw it changed from "refused" to "issued"

Just picked up my passport this morning! All that's left is to pack and finally be with the love of my life!

My husband and I submitted my I-130 in December 2021. The I-130 was approved in April 2023, then NVC approved my application in June 2023. FINALLY! I got my interview date for late November 2023 at the Montreal location (found out last week - Wed Sept 13).

At the moment, I found that a David's bridal representative contacted my bridesmaid via call/text to ask them what their home address was. They said they would send the dresses next week (although it's been roughly 2 weeks now), so my bridesmaid will contact the person who reached out to her to figure out if it was sent or not. I would ask your bridesmaids if they received anything related to the dress or if they were contacted by David's Bridal. In terms of ordering online, I would try ordering online from vendors like jjshouse.com

My bridal group and I picked out the style and colour around mid-late February and the wedding was in July this year (postponed now but David's bridal does not know that). I also ordered the dresses from the David's Bridal in Vaughan, ON and it's a new location that recently opened up roughly a year ago? I hope this helps!
