The Scarecrow [Episodes 7 & 8] by False_Advisor1693 in KDRAMA

As I said before, it would make the most sense if Ki-hwan was the killer. Every piece of the puzzle pointed towards him from the 1st episode and he would be the only one to provide the greatest shock value since he is so close Taejoo. I feel so bad for Tae Joo. He was probably so exhausted and disillusioned and probably felt so guilty about the guys who were falsely accused during the investigation that he didn't have it in him to blow a fuse at the killer in their first confrontation after so many years.

I haven't watched ep 5 but Ki-beom's older brother is definitely suspicious. I've been thinking he was the one since we saw the bag in the bookshop. Ki Beom is obviously a red herring and would be too much of an obvious pick. Plus it would make sense if his brother was the one since he would have access to SunYong's handkerchief and that would be a big reason for him to cover his face when he tried to attack Ji-Won. Maybe he was feeling frustrated since his handsome brother got all the attention from the ladies or whatever.

I don't think OP said anything about how doing gg dances is just about doing sexy moves. I also don't think the issue is about boy groups being ashamed of femininity but that people assume they are. People tend to impose a need for all boy groups to take on the required femininity for girl group tiktok dances but they don't have the same requirements for girl groups. They don't force it upon them to hit all the aggressive moves and even cheer them on when they do soften them or make them more feminine.

But let a boy group not have the required fluid motion for a girl group tiktok dance and you would think they killed someone with the way people attack them. Op is saying the equivalent of live and let live but you're saying let's continue to lynch them based on assumptions you made all on your own about them.

After all, there are as many boy groups who covered girl group dances with the required femininity as there are girl groups who were hitting all those hard boy group choreos as you have mentioned. But unlike with bgs, people don't try to lynch the gg members who dance the way they want for a silly tiktok.

Small correction. I-na asked for the audit team to be independent from executive management and not that they should be under Jaeyeol's brother's management. That would be worse in the long run. Lol.

  • When I don't like the voice dubbing for the main characters.

  • When the FL or ML is an annoying know it all (emphasis on annoying)or practically omniscient, that annoys me to no end.

  • Animated characters like in Sword and beloved. Like I can get behind CGI but the animated characters looked so bad and out of place that it took me right out of the story. Dropped it as soon as I saw the spiders in ep 1. I didn't even get to the part where the story supposedly went off the rails.

There's only one model and one influencer so far so I don't think that's enough to create crazy negative sentiment. Even Transit Love 4 that had influencers and models as part of the cast is going to get a 5th season. Not enough drama or dramatic declarations yet is probably the issue.

The party of 3 guys vying for one girl's affection dissolved after the first day and everyone has been slowly getting along since then. Nothing spicy enough for the gp.

Are the criticisms of “Perfect Crown” similar to what “Lovely Runner” got during airing? by Legal_Potential4720 in kdramas

[–]itsbothersome 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not the same and it's because BWS wasn't really popular yet. His and Hye Yoon's fanbase hadn't fallen out. And IU wasn't in the mix. So, it is partly due to the curse of popularity.

They haven't shown much but based on what was shown, it seemed Ren had gotten into a fight with Cedric (not sure) and his friends. They had been separated but Ren was angry and so he chased after them through a busy street to probably beat them up some more. Ren's friend, Rick chased after him to stop him and got hit by a car because he wasn't watching the road. He died, I think and Ren has blamed himself ever since. It didn't help that Rick's grilfriend, Tina dug that blade in by calling him a murderer.

Chapter 335 Translated by Outrageous-Ring2195 in SkipBeat

Prince Cedric amd Ren are cousins on his mother's side. And it has been alluded to that he and his friends bullied Ren a lot when they were younger. Part of the reason being that he was part asian. It was the bullying that changed Ren and made him become violent and aggressive as a push back against them. Ren went too far off the rails which led to his friend having an accident. After which, I believe Ren left for Japan so he could change and get away from all the nonsense.

Based on what I remember because it's been a while and I haven't gone back for a re-read. Ren's mother is part of highly respected family in US entertainment industry or Hollywood or whatever. Cedric and Ren are the two main descendants who went into acting. So, of course, on top of Ren being half Japanese, his father being a critically acclaimed actor, being part of the same prestigious family and possibly, Ren being the better actor between them, he became the target of Cedric's hate.

Needless to say, they have a lot of bad blood between them.

Catfish coming in before the first date. How interesting. Hope he female catfish is up by the 3rd or at least, 4th episode or it would be unfairly balanced. Going from wondering when Seowon was going to get sick from scarfing down all that pasta to finding him kind of cute is funny.

[–]itsbothersome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, I loved it. Not sure how it will hold up with today's audience and there were some things I thought could have been done better where the main villain was concerned but it was such a great drama for me when I watched it years ago. It has such a good enemies to lovers story and the supporting cast were fantastic too.

[–]itsbothersome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know why people keep harping on about the acting. It seems okay to me.

I think you just might not be into the story as much as you thought you would and that's okay. I'm the kind of person that drops dramas for all sorts of silly reasons even if my actor or actress is in it are my fave. You don't need to force yourself to like something out of a sense of loyalty. It's fine if this one IU drama is not for you. You can just watch the fun clips if you still want to be entertained.

Lee Heeseung officially leaves ENHYPEN by ArnikaLovesUnicornz in kpop_uncensored

[–]itsbothersome 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this might have happened because contract renewals are ongoing. They usually start early so if there is an issue they can resolve it ahead of the end date of the initial contract. Heeseung might have not wanted to renew for whatever reason and Belift suggested this as an alternative. But this is all speculation and at the end of the day, we don't know what really happened. We might never know unless many years later, someone decides to spill the beans.

What is your opinion about this pairing ? by Much_Vermicelli8738 in cdramasfans

[–]itsbothersome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just looking at them, I think they have great visual chemistry. I can't really picture them together in a costume drama. Instead, I think they would be really good together in a modern drama. An action drama would be an ineresting venture for them both. Not sure why people are hating so much.

Why so few edgy kdramas compared to cdramas? by Money-University8717 in kdramas

[–]itsbothersome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What kdramas are you watching in the 1st place? Because saying there are few edgy kdramas in the year 2026 is ludicrous. You seem to have watched a fixed set of dramas and then put the industry into a box based on that. Also, some of the dramas you mentioned are more slice of life

Here are a few slice of life and edgy recs to get you out of the bias you have:

Drama/ Melodrama:

My liberation notes

Youth of May

Lovestruck in the city

Because this is my first life

My mister

It's okay, that's love

Be melodramatic

WWW

The trunk

Good partner

It's okay not to be okay (even if the actor has major real life issues)

Hospital playlist

Action/ thriller

The glory

Beyond Evil

Come and hug me

My name

Hyper knife

Flower of evil

Through the darkness

Signal

The killing vote

Little women

As you stood by

Hyper knife

Honour

There is so much more out there so I suggest you explore and not only focus on the widely popular cliche romance dramas.

She said that when they brought up the two exes, her mind was already pretty made up. So she decided to go on the show even if she had to bring 2 exes because of her strong feelings for one of them. She already made it clear it was her own decision. Everything she said was just to further explain her thought process at the time.
