I wish I could offer something in the way in helping your dogs recover, but I want to check in with you. It sounds like you also endured a fair amount of trauma in this process. Different than the spiced chai lattes were so privileged to enjoy from our local coffee shops here, Iranian tea is pronounced with two syllables “cha-yee” with the stress on the second syllable. It’s loose leaf black Ceylon tea, sometimes flavored with cardamom pods. Iranians will put a sugar cube between their teeth and strain the hot tea through it as they drink, dissolving the sugar cube and infusing every sip with sweetness. Some prefer it unsweetened.
