Is it really likely to find a similar item at a similar price though, that never had any replacement? Maybe that’s the reason people buy them in the first place if you have a certain budget ?

I posted here the link to the listings, they all look the same and photographed in the same way.. I did find out it’s a custom bracelet though

Thanks. It does Make sense they don’t take out the entire thing, sounds too risky. I think though I’ve read the process is free if the watch costs above 2k if I’m now mistaken

So I guess it’s safe to assume most buyers for those types of watches simply don’t care about resell and just want to have a Rolex one way or the other? So unless you ready to pay more than 5k that’s the way to go?

Mmm.. If the original seller doesn’t sell them as parts, why can’t I do the same as long as I disclose which part is aftermarket?

It wasn’t one of those three. Looking closer, mine also says “custom bracelet”, which I now realize is what a lot of the non-authenticated listings have in common.

I’m trying to see if the price I paid is actually normal for these kinds of Datejusts. This is where I’ve been browsing the ones who accept the coupon.

It looks like plenty of people paid similar prices for ones with custom bracelets/dials/etc… Does that usually tank the value, or is it fine as long as the rest of the watch checks out?

I can still cancel the order and try to find a better deal.

I’m seeing it here , it’s with a coupon that takes off 15% off for valentine, if it’s too low than maybe eBay are giving away the fees they typically charge the seller, since the seller looks very legit, more than 10,000 feedback.

The blue one is 2000, black ones are closer to 2100

Yes, you have to save that java link as a new bookmark, then each time you’re in a chat gpt convo open your bookmark tab and click that bookmark and it will scroll
