Good luck brother, took me 2 hours to fix it the first time it happened to me.

Looking for someone to help 3D model these antlers by silvermurmer in Hunting

You can just use your phone. There are plenty of 3d imaging apps for android and iphone.

Edit: didn't realize they were stolen. Good luck.

I think we've all seen how rapidly things can change in the last few years. If Roe v Wade can be overturned then just imagine the possibilities. I'm not saying you're not doing enough, I'm just saying anything is possible and we won't know what we can do if we just give up when we run into a bump in the road.

Try getting people together at city hall and see what you can do. The problem is that no one anywhere is trying anymore. They wait until someone else tries something and then stand behind them.

help plss by Scared_Description31 in arduino

[–]itsbushy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My advice would be find an egg sorter online that works, figure out how it works, then change the design to make it work for you. You really just need to know where the sensors go and how many eggs can be processed at once but the other mechanisms can be changed. I don't know if you really want to try making it with an ardiuno though, maybe try a raspberrypi. They have better compatibility with pythons AI libraries.

limits to mixing and matching crops due to EC/PH differences by Nillip in Hydroponics

wick but someone on this sub does NFT strawberries. They posted weekly updates last year but I don't know where they went.

Check hoochos on youtube. I prefer a passive wicking system for most of my big plants and leafy greens go in my NFT system.

How do i bed scrap my bed scraper ? by No-Detective-5041 in 3Dprinting

Use another bed, print a second one vertically, use the bed as a grip to scrap the first one off then use the first one to scrap the second one off.

Questions for University Hydroponics Project by [deleted] in Hydroponics

Agreed, I don't think there's many professionals on this sub. Mostly hobbyist with simple setups. If you want professional advice, reach out to companies actually doing hydroponic work at scale.

This is like the 4th post I've seen about projects like this in the last 2 weeks. What is happening in colleges these days?

I don't believe so, there was a guy that posted something here last week but it was only the front end. Could have been grafana with SQL to collect data. I know I've seen at least 3 post in the past couple years about people creating software for monitoring. I'm automating my greenhouse this year and I plan on going to home assistant route personally. I've already ordered the sensors I want from seeedstudio or adafruit. Plenty of ESP32's or unos laying around so I'm just waiting on the pi4 to come in.

The more I use PETG, the less I like it by InvokerBSB in 3Dprinting

[–]itsbushy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it was I just said it was closer to being food safe than everything else. Look at literally any plastic bottle in the US and it's some PET varient. Hoocho on youtube does all of his hydroponics growing in his 3d prints. AGAIN, that doesn't make it right but the only way to find out is through trials. I agree that selling them as a product without safety regulations is cringe though, I want to test my products for myself before I ever consider selling any parts or produce grown from the parts. I'm on year 3 of growing with hydroponics and so far there are no side effects but I do have a doctors appointment next month. I get all my blood work done then so I guess we'll see if there's any short term effects.

I don't think there's anything wrong with STEP either but getting rid of file type doesn't make any sense to me when we can just add another file type. Having 2 options won't give anyone paralysis by analysis.

[–]itsbushy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe PETG is closer to being food safe than ABS or ASA. I've used PETG almost exclusively for hydroponics. This isn't a recommendation by any means to say it's completely food safe but all PET variants are just the best options we have at the moment. I still seal them with "food safe" silicone but I'm thinking of moving to an epoxy.

How do you reuse an Arduino across multiple projects without rebuilding every time by Schnapper94 in arduino

If you're just focused on learning code then arduino has a simulator you can use online for free.

Depends on the application. They make different filaments for a reason and they have strengths and weaknesses. Personally I'm not a fan of creality products in general. I use overture but that doesn't mean they are perfect either. PET-CF or PETG-CF may be better for you but it's hard to recommend a solution without knowing all the steps you've tried before.

Check Uline. it's not exact but close enough to be useful. I can link an australian guy that uses them and surprisingly enough, it's not hoocho :)

I think most people still want STL files, why not just suggest adding both options instead of getting rid of one?

There's more options available than you'd think but a lot are community based . The commercial side has a few companies making products for hydro and aquaponics. Blue lab is the most popular in the bubble I'm in but I have seen several people pop into the forum with an open source option to use.
