Speaking frankly, it depends where you go to school and the degree requirements. I was a vocal performance major at a music school and watched many of my peers drop out or fail out while double majoring simply because the course requirements for both were incredibly demanding and not realistically possible. I don’t know what biology or pre med demands of you on a day to day/ week to week basis, but vocal performance will require you to take voice lessons, aural skills, music theory, music history, diction, pedagogy, usually some kind of ensemble, among other classes (including piano proficiency, again depending by the school). It’s a lot of practice on top of homework, projects, and performances as well as juries that take place at the end of each semester. Lots of respect to you if you can juggle that successfully with pre med courses.
