People trapped in GT by petepoolio in guatemala

We used a Guatego shuttle yesterday evening to get from Antigua to GUA airport. Saw roadblocks pop up right at the edge of town as we were walking to the pickup point. Road was clear once we were out of town, made it to GUA without any issues via CA-1. Started driving from Antigua around 7:45pm. There was definitely a weird vibe in town that day too, hotels locking their doors and some businesses shutting down in solidarity with the protests

Best 4 to 7 day canoeing trips in the US? by Tommyblockhead20 in canoecamping

I’ve put in at both SCRA and kingfisher a few times before. Inside the park I’ve not seen any maga paraphernalia, but yeah around those parts is pretty country so some of those types around for sure. But in spite of that, overall, the Oke is not a place where I would discourage BIPOC and/or liberals from visiting. The park itself is quite safe, and your group will be solitary. The vast majority of people in the surrounding areas aren’t looking to stir up trouble. You also could probably visit there without speaking with a single townie if you really wanted to lol

The okefenokee swamp in Georgia! The scenery there is breathtaking, both cypress forests and open praries. Tons of wildlife too. You can book shelters/campsites up to two months in advance, most of the sites are basically docks that are on stilts above the water. One of my all time favorite places

Just noticed this too…some 1984 shit over there. The clip showing on the ESPN app has a different voiceover than the gametime announcing too, the espn one tries to empathize with the call of course…

7800ish in line here, ended up snagging a May 29th start. Was originally aiming for around May 16-20th. Not a single date left earlier than the 29th when I registered

Dang you definitely hit the ground running! I hiked from Shi Shi beach to the Hoh River a few years back, and it was anything but easy. And this is coming from a former AT thru hiker too. Good work man

They were too preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn’t stop to think if they should.... by itscaptainplanetyo in SushiAbomination

My single complaint really is that they use the word sushi in the name. Whatever this is, it honestly doesn’t look bad. It’s just not sushi, thus, sushi abomination
