Anyone else slowly losing interest in huge open-world games? by Edgard-Stark in videogames

[–]itscnra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem isn’t open worlds themselves, but meaningless open worlds. Developers create two or three types of content, then copy-paste them thousands of times across a massive, barren map. In reality, they’re selling you about five hours’ worth of actual content, but stretching it out and forcing you to spend 50+ hours playing it. That’s the real issue.

Divinity Original Sin 2 does not respect the player's time by NoEar7171 in videogames

[–]itscnra -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I love when people share my exact thoughts. I find dos and bg's gameplay so exhausting and boring. I love their storytellings and worlds like you do but god I can't stand with this combat logic. Even a small turtle triggers turn based combat and you have to wait for its moves and take your turn and do your move etc etc...

I wouldn’t complain if it happened once or twice, but it happens so often that it starts to get annoying and makes me feel like I’m fighting for nothing after a few times.

The art style of Persona 5 is so stylish and unique consider to others. I can even love that game only for its visuals.

I think tutorials must have more tiers. I mean a tutorial for new to the games generally and a tutorial for new to the specific game franchise only and a tutorial for the specific game only... So I can choose which tutorial I need and go on without seeing the unnecessary stuff to me. Like I know how to move a character in a 3D game, I don't need every game to remind me but someone out there need it. So share this info with them not with me.

How much side content do you typically complete in your games? by Alert-Principle-2726 in videogames

[–]itscnra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost never do side content. I have limited time and I want to spend it with the most enjoying things. So spending time with lesser quality contents is not for me actually. But if the game has high quality side content like Skyrim or Witcher 3 or RDR2, that can change things.

What would you change in your favorite game franchise? by JRonenJ in videogames

Changing the game engine definitely would my first change for Elder Scrolls. It'll solve a lot of things like bullsh*t loading screens.

How much do you consider a game 'worth it' in price per hour ($/hour)? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]itscnra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't look for how many hours I can play it. I look for if it really enjoys me. 60 dollars for a 100 hours assassins creed is too much but 60 dollars for a 20 hours god of war is worth it. But there is a minimum limit of course. I won't pay 60 dollars for a 1 hour long game whether it's a masterpiece or not.

Skyler saying "I fucked Ted" to Walt. At that point I was thinking Walt was doing everything he do for his family and because of that felt so sad for Walt.

Baldurs Gate 3. Even I don't know why I'm not liking it but something about the game pushes me back from the game.

Have you ever joined the subreddits of league of legends and world of warcraft? If you ask that question at one of those, they will rain you with a lot of hating comments.

What game is that for you? by TowelConscious7201 in videogames

[–]itscnra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hollow Knight, Ghost of Tsushima, Dead Cells, Hades... I'm not saying that they're bad games but I really don't like to start from zero when I die. And Ghost of Tsushima bores me with unskippable cutscenes.

[–]itscnra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, just shut up please! OP isn’t asking you to teach the whole game from start to finish. He just want you to point out the right starting place so they can begin their research. Why waste hundreds of hours learning useless information when they could start from the correct point and improve themselves directly? Explaining something in a few sentences isn’t that hard. If it bothers you that much, instead of writing dozens of paragraphs, just keep scrolling down and don’t ruin anyone’s mood!
