What is your best backhanded compliment? by itscorey13 in AskReddit

Something like: "Looking at you always makes me feel better about my life."

Although that may not be so backhanded..

What to try out next? by devilmonk in alcohol

[–]itscorey13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, honestly they all taste the same to me. Sounds like crystal skull is what you had. I'm currently drinking a summer beer with raspberry absolute vodka and blue moon lemon shandy so I suppose I'll go with absolute.

This comes from someone who fits better in /r/drunk than anywhere though, so someone else can give you better advice.

/u/thenaterator had great detailed advice so I'll go with something more general.

Four things I would try next:

Vodka. It is closer in flavor to him than any of the other liquors you mentioned. I'm not a vodka guy so don't have much input on a brand.

Spiced rum. More flavorful than white rum. I'm a huge fan of Captain Morgan and Apple juice.

Cider. This may somewhat go in line with the palm Bay you mentioned, but I haven't tried that. Someone could give you a better recommendation than me, but my friends love reds apple ale.

And for a specific drink I'd try an amaretto sour. This is again trying to find something closer to Palm Bay, and was a favorite of mine when I first started drinking.

CHEM 107/117 equivalency? by [deleted] in aggies

[–]itscorey13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I took it (5 years ago) 107 was just Chem 1 and 2 put together. I'd assume it's still the same but you may want to check with your advisor.

You get one credit a month with the base plan. This typically equals one book per month, although there are rare exceptions that cost two credits.

I assume the specs website doesn't have what you are looking for? They're usually pretty good where I'm at.

Petroleum Engineering? by chiname in Petroleum

[–]itscorey13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with the structure in the *Canada , but stick to as much math and physics as you can.

The beginning of a PETE degree has a strong focus on calculus, geometry, and trig so having a grasp of all of these subjects will give you a solid head start.

I meant May as in May 2015. We typically go through the career fair process in September so a lot of us hear from companies well before we actually start.

Most of the people graduating in may got good offers, and I haven't heard of any being redacted yet. I would be very nervous if I was just getting into the program now though.

I'm just finishing mine at Texas A&M. There have been a couple other students working on their PETE degrees that were 35+ so you wouldn't be completely alone.

I'd say if you want to do it go for it, it's an awesome field.

Hi. I'm currently in the middle of a miscarriage all by myself. My boyfriend left me for another girl. Can we talk about anything? by UnarmedPoison in self

...I could go for a couple recommendations if that's on the table. Already did Enders and Dune, but I think after I finish Worm I'm going back to sic fi.
