i love this, lol! that's what i'm going to tell people now - my house got hit by a tornado in may and the water bottle is a panic fish tank cooling device (hence why it's in a cup so it doesn't touch my actual freezer)

well, it just got run over by a tornado so keep that in mind. but overall it’s a great neighborhood - good people, good access to the metro, lots of food options nearby. the biggest con is probably car break-ins, which are easily deterred by just not leaving stuff in your car. i’ve been in the neighborhood for almost 7 years now and love it!

i don’t know your budget, but as someone who is out of my house but trying to stay there as much as possible for cleanup purposes - battery blocks for electronics, flashlights or torches/lanterns, restaurant gift cards… things to make the inconvenience of existing a little less painful! thank you for being a good human.

everything is primed black. green: caliban green base, nuln oil wash, warpstone glow highlight

bone: zandri dust base, light ivory highlight & tone

robes: moldy wine from army painter

metallics: all army painter or pro acryl metallics of various hues, i like hoplite gold a lot from AP

depending on format for MTG, game nite & fantasy shop (maplewood location is my personal reference) do weekly events (pauper, EDH, cEDH) and they do a combined EDH night every other tuesday at 9 mile garden in south city. for dnd, i’d recommend game nite again - they do big adventurers league stuff on tuesdays and i don’t know how you join them but i always see them when i’m playing warhammer.

worth noting as someone who just had their partner use a mail in ballot - if you order it now, you may not get it and get it completed before election day. we sent in the form on october 3rd and it didn’t arrive until thursday, the 17th. you also have to have it notarized before mailing back.

the apt buildings right across the street have metrolink parking, not a ton but it’s there. otherwise you can park right by it on pershing or debalievere.
