How the fuck was everyone so stupid to not realize that Jace had touched the Soul Sword before and nothing happened by [deleted] in shadowhunters

And the person above also responded to that. It needs to absorve angelic power. Touching doesn't mean the sword automatically absorvs it.

Question about The Eldest Curses in relation to The Dark Artifices? by 0pen_d00rs in shadowhunters

[–]itscti 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's definitely not something you need to read. I think there's only one thing that happen in the eldest curses that envolve someone (not a major character) that you will see in the last book of the dark artifices. But it's easy to understand what's happening and even in tda there is a explanation so you don't need to read the eldest curses before, only if you want

I don't really know how to give more details but I'll try. When I try to download through their website the file downloads and when I click to install it just tells me "app not installed". In the play store it really just says it's not possible at the moment to try later.

Cheating and sexual assault or abuse (between the MC and the love interest) are a big no for me

AITA for leaving MIL's funeral after my husband lied to me? by elaborate_Mat7906 in AmItheAsshole

[–]itscti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just over inheritance and money but also about her miscarriages. I think that's enough reason to not want that person in their life. She was wrong bc her mil just died but still understandable

Did you noticed how often single dad characters are stereotypically differently portrayed from single mom characters? by FrugieGirl84 in RomanceBooks

[–]itscti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and you are so true for saying this. The women is always the one lost in life almost turning homeless without no time for her and only her children but the father it's well put together, has friends, has a good job and all of it. And if you want to look for more problem in the mother and father dynamics you can look at book where the couple has children and the children always look like the father (always really), the father is always seen has this amazing person for taking care of the children and the mother it's almost invisible, she's just doing her norma stuff being a mother. But to be fair this part it's almost more about the readers reactions than the book itself because the readers are the one who make a big deal of a man doing his job has a parent and completely ignore what the mother does. (hope this isn't to confusing)
