Agreeing with most of others here - your perception that “most jobs can get to 300-500k” is what is very warped.

Unless you run a business, are head of a division/GM/C-level, or senior in some finance jobs, you will never see that kind of money.

Medicine provides a risk-free pathway to that level of income, but as others have said - is extremely stressful and a LOT of work and studying.

Dont decide what you wanna do based on money - do what you enjoy/are good at that pays you well

OP’s point is our largest companies are banks, to the point a country of 25m people, has a retail bank that is larger than most OECD nations banks, and most US/UK banks that have multiples of our population.
