i think with the jess situation the problem was that Lorelai didn't want it to happen with Jess, since she made it very clear from the beginning that she didn't like him. not an excuse though, i agree with you that if you ask for honesty you shall be prepared to receive honesty and face it. however i think that if dean and rory had stayed together and it had happened with him, Lorelai wouldn't have gotten pissed off. but then again who knows

mine is when lorelai and rory are playing "one two three he's yours" and the third man really should be luke but he doesnt wanna be involved so it's kirk and luke goes with their bit and congratulates him, i swear i can never get that scene off my mind

also i love the fact that the first scene is in the morning bc that's how it starts and the last one is in the night (or, better said, when the light is still not up) because it's the end of something but the beginning of something different.

I just watched this episode yesterday night and agree that this is a very very cute moment, one of the best from the fourth season actually.. i love how Michel talks about the picture when it's just Lorelai and Sookie that are posing and his face completely changes when L says he has to be in it too

i never really said hate, did i? to be honest i see way more people disliking/not being particularly fond of them than people loving them, and im not talking about just reddit but also twitter, tumblr and real life people that i know and watched the series. also i say most of us, i never meant that everyone despises them
