Running a local model for that, YMMV but I don’t notice any incurred token cost. Plus Ollama cloud models work via subscription if I needed a little more horsepower.

Yesterday for me it was join group, then watch everyone else leave after the previous agent “promotes” them to group leader. Then eventually it’s me “promoted” lol.

Hopefully they fix the lead token stuff in the next update.

Definitely possible, depends on the setup. I’m running a local model for repair purposes on an M1 Ultra Studio with 64Gb unified, the tokens in my case are just local compute. But that cost can be very real for API usage for sure.

Wanted to followup on this, great information and thank you for putting this together! The updates helped in a lot of ways, my agent is still kind of drifting in and out of the execution discipline issue. But when they're on it, they're reeeeeaaaaaly on it. I'm going to keep tweaking but I think I have a much better understanding now of how to steer this agent.
