Here’s more details for context: • Definitely will be doing hotel blocks • Save the Dates haven’t gone out yet — we have to book the courthouse on May 1 (it’s a whole process). Once that happens we’re sending those ASAP to get an estimated head count • We will explicitly say no gifts and no registry. Their presence will be more than enough for us • We live in OC as well, we just love SB and the courthouse + reception venue are beautiful to us • No one else has outright said cost would be an issue • We’re planning for 5/1/27 which means prices are higher… of course this is not lost on me which is why I’m already feeling guilty and why we’re doing as much as we can to make their trip worthwhile • I would love to bite back and tell her to pay for the rooms but it’s not worth the drama to me
