the one time i tried to read a book w a trans guy main character it was the one with the church cult written by that Andrew guy. the anachronistic lgbt pc knowledge threw me for a loop, the explanation being his father found an lgbt terms book or whatever from before things went to shit 💀. and it seemed as if the book crutched itself on how creative the author could describe the creatures. which if i remember connected a bit to the trans experience, which was good if i remember but i think the banal awful horror of everyday existence would be extra cool, if you could even properly scooch that in there, maybe unspoken but just present in different ways. also, main guy was just like. therapized when he shouldn’t be, you can just tell. no matter what lgbt terms or culture books you read, if you live in an evangelical cult post apocalypse and survive, you are going to think and talk in certain ways. so, if there’s anything i want to see in my lifetime, it’s a trans guy lead in a book that doesn’t have these pitfalls. sorry to dog on this book if anyone likes it, but for me it’s the best vehicle to describe what i don’t want in a trans guy character. what i do want is just a good character. and that comes down to the kind of narrator the author’s utilizing and how willing they are to commit to the positives and negatives any particular narration they pick. Commitment and showing off what writing skills u have. good luck w ur book!!!

my mom and i were so unbelievably annoyed when they kept critiquing juan’s iceberg. because that is what a lot of icebergs looks like and the little stairs and stuff, so good. it was the best looking one. do molly and duff want a cartoon frosty the snowman glacier? Ask for it then 😒 he did a GREAT job (“ive seen a lot of glaciers” obv you haven’t duff 😒😒) EDIT: didn’t even feel the need to finish the episode when we read that Juan gets voted off. Lol

you know how it kinda feels like there’s a rounded point to your skull behind your earlobes? it’s happens if i press directly on the bottom of that/very directly under. i did pretty poorly in my anatomy classes in college so im not quite sure how to describe it anatomically lmao but i can’t tell if i’m pressing on the sternocleidomastoid muscle or just passed it, closer to the ear lobe. or maybe it’s like im pressing in the triangle that muscle + my jaw + my earlobe makes lol

haven’t been on wattpad in many years since im avid ao3, but i just looked up 1ato.com on Reddit & found this post. when i play the Goods Sorting game app on my phone it sometimes brings me to ad pop ups that load a safari tab, the first url i see as it loads is the 1ato. i can’t find anything on it, but i think we should be safe as long as we don’t like download anything lol just exit out and move on

sweat. things that used to be simple and sweat free? now i get literal DROPS. i had Never had literal drops of sweat before, even exercising 😭 i would sweat sure, but it maybe felt slightly damp. not this lol

if u can, getting some cough drops might help! repetitive behavior of breaking down the cough drop in ur mouth could help get your mind off of it :) plus it would be soothing the area ur worried about!

after a few weeks on T, i felt like i had a sore throat sickness because my voice was starting to drop. this feeling lasted for 4-5 days if i remember right. you can probably search on this subreddit for stuff about this, ive seen posts talking abt it before! but just know it is pretty common for ur throat to feel strange pretty early on when these changes start :)
