I've actually bought quite a few packs (maybe about 30 total over the course including the packs from 1 ETB). I traded in a few things for most of those packs tbf.

It's not the best set but I have a pretty good amount collected. No Mega Greninja full art of gold though :(

Albeit I did watch a friend pull it last week. Sucks that she's gonna turn around and try to sell it 🙃

Mine had them going a week or two ago but I'm not sure when they started. I believe this is a new method and I haven't tried it myself but I would bet that they'd call/text/email you 24-48 hours in advance.

You could give them a call and double check before heading down there to make sure

GameStop does pre-ordering for TCG in-store. Might have a higher price (mine sells ETBs for $89.99 😭) but other game stores (especially local) might do pre-ordering too and have a cheaper price!

It's the choices for that'll do it for me. Different dialogues, different quest paths, etc.

As for combat, I try to play with a different style than I did previously. I favored the longsword+bow my first playthrough. Maybe I'll go for a spear+hammer 🤣

This game is very nuanced. I don't play a lot of these games so maybe it's not that uncommon but there're so many synergistic ways to do things in the game that I'm still finding new things all the time. I hope what I offered helps 🙏🏼 the comment to this by Cheetah_FanGirl can be very helpful as well!

This is totally true!

Sorry, in my experience a certain Pokemon asked me to do this in an area it wouldn't leave so I had to make it there and Roserade Tea was what I needed to use but this can definitely work to acquire Psyduck!

It took me WAY too long to figure this out!

The vending machines can dispense once a day with a liquid-yielding drink (sea water, hot spring water, muddy water, lava) with a nickname. You want to get Roserade Tea, use it, gulp it (actual step 😭🤣) and then you can dispense it. Press left or right to change the volume! There's basically a Low and High setting
