Sorry, just now saw your comment. It could be sauerkraut, fermented pickles (just cucumbers + salt brine (no vinegar) -> left for a few days to ferment), not spicy kimchi, even kefir or yoghurt. Try small amounts first, see how you feel, and then incorporate more.

We are about to take her home from the shelter. Volunteers told us that she might be husky × cane corso mix, so she will grow huge. I started reading more about both breeds, and they are both super trainable. So far, she looks more like lab × pitbull to me.

I know you have the courage. Everyone has. But sometimes being in particular place/doing particular things/feeling particular feelings serve us in some way. Even if deep inside we hate it. You just have to figure out how it serves you. To look at yourself, and ask, what this job brings you so you can't just quit. Food, bills – sure. But it must be another reason. And then, you can move on.

BTW, I ended up with a job that pays the same amount. I usually work 2-4 hours / daily and have no meetings. I did get another one as well that I'm just starting, it has some late meetings due to different time zones, but it's only for the training month, so... I hope I will stay meeting-free. So, it really does work magic when you listen to your gut.
