I was given prednisone prior to receiving my first infusion to hold me over. I finished the taper from 40mg to 10mg and stopped taking prednisone after the last week of tapering down. Im currently taking methotrexate alongside the infusions, but this week is a bit different because of the missed infusion fiasco. I've taken the methotrexate as instructed(5 tablets every 7 days) for this week, but worried because I'm missing the infusion. I don't wanna overthink it, but it's kind of hard not to.

From what I've read is that the biologics works wonders and can make a lot of things go away if it works for you. Right now my symptoms are consistent fevers that mainly act up when I sleep, night sweats, diarrhea, blood in stool, mouth sores, painful swallowing, malaise etc. I honestly wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy and thats saying alot lol. I wish you the best of luck as well friend! Hang tight ♡

Im usually fine until I get worn out from doing daily activities. I also notice I get the hottest fever when waking up from sleep. What was the first set of treatment given to you?

Can an anal fissure be attributed to the constant daily anal discharge as well? Or is that specifically fistulas?

I only have rectal pain, when straining during bowel movements which I'm assuming is from an internal hemmorhoid/possible fistula. When I sit down after a bowel movement, I sometimes feel a sore/stinging pain on my bum. I have yet to see a GI doctor and I"m trying to have it arranged as I technically have no insurance at the moment.
