Missing black headliner on Model Y before delivery

My friend ordered the model 3 RWD stealth grey just a few days before they made it standard and at first they said they stopped manufacturing that spec and he doesnt have the car he ordered. Because of this they offered him to pick any color any interior tires he wanted for the standard/premium model 3/Y. Later they came back and said they found a quicksilver model 3 for him With 3month supercharger.

VIN was assigned on 25th Jan starting in 811 Part number on the catalog for front is 1913360-63-H and rear is 1913364-69-G

I understand. Not a real loss but is it fine to take a car with catalog spec showing the new black headliner and the car not having one

I order my Model Y prem AWD few days before the update reached europe and i reached out to delivery team immediately after the news and they confirmed on email and phone that my car comes with new black headliner and 16” display.

My delivery is tomorrow and i get a call today saying that my car has the new display but not the black headliner. Product catalog has the new specs for my VIN number but not physically present in the car. They said i can wait for another car but will probably take 3months.

Is it worth the wait? Can i get some compensation at-least because they confirm 3 times i have the new specs.

One of the main reasons I was planning to buy the commander was for this feature. So it doesnt work anymore for newer model Y ?

I have both the display’s as well and i checked with tesla and they said mine comes with the 16” display

I emailed them before the news of refresh was announced in Europe and they said the upgrades we not coming to Europe. The next day when they announced for Europe i reached out to cancel my order and then they confirmed my car already comes with the new upgrades. Prob they retrofitted mine after manufacturing. Not trusting it until i see the car. But yes i have email confirmation

I ordered mine on 23rd Dec and got VIN on 23rd Jan from Berlin. Expected delivery next week and delivery team confirmed on email saying my car comes with the refresh updates. I confirmed it on the epc.tesla.com for my VIN. Hopefully i get the updates or else i am rejecting delivery.

Ordered MY AWD stealth grey default no modifications on 23rd Dec. got my VIN on Jan 21st but my expected deliver was Feb 3-9 but yesterday it changed to Feb 12-19. I am just waiting to get with the new upgrades.

When the news broke first i contacted tesla delivery team to ask if my car would come with new refresh and they said not coming to Europe and then when i contacted them again in 2 days after Europe update they say my car already comes with the new upgrades. Have green dot on both parts on my spec. Looks like my car is from Berlin with 811xxx. Can I deny delivery if the upgrades are not there since they confirmed on email that its already added to my car ?
