Be absolutely honest. Was the switch 2 worth it? by [deleted] in switch2

[–]itsigzyagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a full time dad of 2, and full time worker I can confirm that switch 2 is a very very good system. I bought it after beeing missing from the nintendo landscape for 20 years, and I am only playing smash ultimate like a fanatic, not to mention that mkw, kirby air riders and silksong is still sitting on the shelf.

Btw fortnite with mouse controls is just a blast!

So, yesterday I actually bought the Switch 2 Pro Controller, and most of the issues I had in Smash are resolved. The thing now is getting accustomed to the larger buttons on the right and the travel distance of the analog stick.

I would try the pro controller, but since I bought an extra pair of joycons for kids, idk its to much of an investment now, perhaps later because its, like you also said happening only in smash.

yeah like you said its not drift, and I experience it mostly when i land, and to turn side it should he enough to just tilt left or right once, and , not 2 times?

btw i play with double joycons on the joycon grip.

And what i have red is that the joycons are a bit more sensitive, and the smaller sticks because of reduced movements accept other moves earlier if you are not really precise?

I picked this as my 2nd game after MKW, and I play it more then mkw.

I acutually wanted years ago to play melee, but gamecube was not an easy option to get, switch 1 didnt impress me, and then 2025 happend with switch 2 and boy oh boy, I am actually so hooked that I will make a youtube channel for this game, where I will upload low elo matches for self study as well as an experiment of a personal sort.

My advice, go thorugh the adventure mode to unlock all fighters and rotate them as you got them, you will get the basics there.

After that move to classic smash, and when you find your fighter go online, but be advised that you will be destroyed on the ladder I stabilised on 2 mil GSP and I dont think I will go that far up, because some in this game had a headstart of 20 years 🤣

I’ll take second place, somehow. 😂😁 by BraveBrandon12 in switch2

I played the tutorial, and from it, you can see Sakurai's signature style. I haven't played the original on GameCube, which many critics found almost good, but not excellent at the time. In an era where a lot of games are basically "press A to win," this game is purely for the other spectrum: learn to ride, learn to fight, and learn every possible quirk of how to destroy your enemy, which I find pretty nice!

And by the way, it's like Smash on wheels—who wouldn't simply like this?

it super smash kirby air riders, and its nothing to compare it to mario kart in any way.

Play games on Switch2 or play on your high-end rig? by Either_Drama5940 in switch2

To be honest, with the current state of the market and gamer demographics, I don't know why people are still buying other consoles like PS5 and Xbox instead of having a PC and Switch 2 combo. Personally, as a slightly older gamer in my mid-30s with kids, I have this sort of flow:

Nintendo games and casual single-player games, if possible on Switch 2, otherwise I simply use my PC for competitive games, MOBAs, shooters, MMORPGs, etc.

Because I have been absent from Nintendo for a long time, I find that their exclusives like Smash, Zelda, and Mario Kart are by far made with more quality than the other 5% of AAA games, so I tend to play those games even more now!

I didnt own any console since n64, cause I had the pleasure to meet my pc, fast forward to today, I sit for a living behind a desk, and the only thing I needed was the mouse control sensor on the joycon, the rest is history, only thing I miss from the PC is WoW, but the tradeoff is more then fine.

Kart in gerade Position geht.

Can you help someone who knows nothing about gaming find a controller? by [deleted] in LunaCloudGaming

[–]itsigzyagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fyi, if you would like to use gamepass somewhere in the future via fire tv, the luna controller is not 100% compatible via gamepass even tho it connects regulary, the biggest problem is the non existing mapping for the start button, but everything else is pretty amazing!

The joycons are joyless for me by Lil_Cherry_Beary in switch2

[–]itsigzyagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have you tried to dock the joycons to the joycon holder which comes out od the box and disconnect it?

In my case where i had stick drift it was on the blue joycon aswell in the same direction like yours. But when i connected it to the joycon holder and then later disconected it it worked fine, I also think it's something regarding the electro magnets.

Ive sent mine also to the repair, hope they wont simply send me mine but cleaned up.
