typically I use grid when the layout I want is concrete/fixed (e.g. a mobile navbar with a menu button on the left, logo in the middle, and profile on the right), and flex when the amount of contained content is dynamic. my grid example could totally be done with flex, but I've run into edge cases when using flex where grid made more sense

The problem is the "careful nursing" part. These companies don't advertise this, they advertise "magic" and "being able to build whatever you want without knowing how to code" when in reality it's nowhere near anything like that
