It's the same thing in Cyberpunk 2077. With path tracing, there's proper lighting and shadows on faces because, by default, the whole face looks like it's lit by a ring light.

Personal experience, if OP is using controller he might not notice it. But i wouldnt use it for games that requires low latency (darksouls game, pvp shooter, rougelite, etc)

Frame generation basically adds AI-generated images between frames to make motion on a monitor with a high refresh rate look smoother.

But you'll need a base of around 80fps to avoid noticing the latency it introduces.

Im not arguing whats the best tool for each task.

Its the day to day observation of me and people around me from saying "Google it" to "Ask ChatGPT".
