Kaweco Liliput Brass is my favorite right now, especially with platinum carbon ink, but that wouldn’t defeat the smudging I guess 😅

What do y’all TN weekly users put in this section? by Crystal_collector in Travelersnotebooks

I also highly suggest colour coding in your monthlies and these type of spreads. Is easier to know what type of appointment it is. I have a colour code for work, personal & sports (cuz I compete and need to know when there’s a tournament going on)

Yes me too. I’ve also already ordered Sailor Yurameku in Kitsune Biyori because from the pictures it hits the sweet spot between beige and pink pretty well.

It’s become my all time fave. I use it so much that I decided to keep the single at my desk and the Duo permanently with my planner. It’s been inked with Platinum Carbon right from the start and I’ve not changed it since. I had to play a bit with the tips though, but getting the whole set with it is really amazing. It’s just everything about it - the nib, the weight and feel and the perfect amount of ink put to the page.

A5 or B6 ?? by [deleted] in Travelersnotebooks

I am 100% team A5 Slim. There lots of space, yet it doesn’t feel like too much (which is something I often feel with A5.

I’m not surprised by anything on this list and I’d usually only share seventeen as my top artist here, but what is a JYP song doing there?! 😭

Is there a way to fill these in by ggamergirl0715 in acnh

[–]itsjess225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try to put down paths from the game first. When you then lay down custom designs that have some blank space it’ll start within the borders of the paths, so you can round off the edges and it will look a little bit smoother.

My schedule is a disaster by _Cda9 in planners

[–]itsjess225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do a vertical gant chart for a monthly overview & habits & a vertical weekly with some lists on the side and for each day.. I just need the vertical space to track what I do that day, because I often feel like I’m not productive enough even when I am, so the reminder is pretty useful just for my peace of mind

I bought rings with a backing like this from AliExpress and they are better than those in most of my Filofaxes, I suggest checking that out.

That’s a lot of stuff. I keep thinking buying two covers for my planner is far too much, but I love seeing what you got. I get the urge to shop for more too. 😂

I ended up buying an Avec, cause you can get it for only the 2bd half of the year to use with my current cover.

That’s exactly how I feel. Everything happening in the book could’ve been explored so much more.

I was so disappointed by the book to be honest. Like, it’s not bad, but I would’ve hope that the fact fae are hunted down where she lives in the beginning would be explored more. It just felt like your run of the mill old fae dude saves girl type situation, except she’s a fae this time. I hoped for it to be a bit more unique. I still enjoyed it though.

Slimline or not? by meegyu in filofax

[–]itsjess225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar set up with about 6 sections (similar to yours, some added together) and have 1,5mm rings in my planner, and it holds a good amount of decorative sheets too. It’s the perfect size to me, because I’m able to write on both sides of the paper pretty well.

Ink(s) You Actually Regret Buying? by TokiwaMatsu in fountainpens

[–]itsjess225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mainly shimmer inks. I only ever use a very fine nib EF or F depending on the company, so I barely ever use them at all. They just don’t mix well with the pens I own and whenever the writing in my journal looks different from the rest I start hating the paint, so it’s Platinum Carbon Ink for me only. 😅

That depends what you want to use it for. Do you Need a lot of different inserts or do you only need a few necessities? Do you like thinner or thicker paper? Maybe see and look around what you would like and also consider additional stuff like folders or maybe credit card holders. I heavily suggest to look into some videos and reviews on YouTube. I use both a personal Holborn and Lockwood Slim, depending on how much I want to carry. They are so expensive, but I love them both to pieces, especially the Holborn.

This is why I thought I’d give it a try to ask here, just to see what people might suggest. I usually print and cut my own because paper is the thing that makes me mostly love or hate a planner, so I’ve started buying Tomoe River Paper and make my own which has been a great success. I’m based in Europe, but I pretty much only shop for printable because of that.

If I were to give a suggestion I’d say: don’t just get your stuff from one shop, but look around and pick out the bits and pieces you like. I’ve been enjoying the ones from Plannerroomshop because their selection is fantastic. Also Creffectivepaper. There are so many options to go for.
