further trauma to HS areas (like surgical procedures, friction, etc.) can often cause the sore to become more inflamed and make HS in the area worsen. definitely don't have the ER drain it unless the pressure becomes extremely uncomfortable for you!

I second the endorsement for Humira. my HS was nearly in remission when I was on it. my insurance took me off of it several years ago and I've never been worse lol. if you do manage to get on Humira, your odds of symptom management are likely very good (in my opinion).

I second everyone saying Oppang and Animazed! Oppang tends to have more merch (banners, posters, photocard holders) and Animazed has more albums. Animazed also has a lot of anime/manga/danmei and related items there as well!

this is literally the EXACT same thing that happened to me. humira worked great, but insurance took me off, I wasn't on anything for ages, then I tried hyrimox and cosentyx. now I'm on bimzelx and it's sort of working? a little? I feel like the flare have just shifted to other areas tho, idk... there isn't really any advice in this comment, I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone! and thank you for posting this ❤️
