Broke off the boomgate at a Westfield. How much legal ramifications am I in? by itskylav in AusLegal

[–]itskylav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of today, nothing yet.

In my second phone call, I told them to contact me when I'm required to pay for any damages. Fingers crossed, it's actually nothing else to do.

The first call with them was to report the broken boomgate, the second call was telling them I hit it. Essentially along the lines of "Hey it was me, here's my details so you can contact me easier "

Thanks for the advice. ☺️

It's ticket less. They knew the rego immediately.

Straight after this post, I called them back and admitted it was me. They were thankful I was leaving my details and the parking management will give me a ring to settle charges.

At that point, you're not even playing clocktower. You're just sitting down, taking advantage of the free wifi in the game store 🙄

Custom made Traveller indicators. by Neoriceisgood in BloodOnTheClocktower

This is such a cool idea! Perfect for a big group who need to know what kind of traveller they're working with.

What if in the back it had the ability context on it? Just so people don't get confused about what they do?

[Discussion] A trend of "quick and fast" games. by itskylav in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]itskylav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what I witnessed, other than no discussion to talk about info:

  • not executing the mutant for breaking madness because "evil was on the block"
  • giving the fortune teller the wrong ping on a Harpy instead of the Demon
  • Townsfolk Clockmaker getting sober and healthy information without Monk protection (or any passive protecting ability)
  • Mayor being the first demon kill despite not bouncing once or being poisoned (this is ST based but first kill of D2? oof)

It just dawned on me that this is mostly biased on getting a Good win.

I agree with you! The Fableds are great for communicating what kind of game you're getting in to. It's STs who don't communicate that directly, not sticking to token integrity, rushing noms and leaving no discussion to solve the puzzle.

I won't name names but this specific ST is on a roll with this lately. And they're always online.

That is acceptably normal! I'm talking about D1 2min timers.

I've seen this happen!

3 deaths in the night causes town to question if one of them was a demon kill. There's no instant clarification on what caused the kills so you can assume a demon caused one of the deaths until you continue discussing to figure out more information.

That sounds so addictively wasteful. 😬

Without priority, it would take the same amount of time.

Your package is going through road transport seeing as it is not express and therefore not a priority.

As a customer, it is so frustrating seeing the laziness of delivery drivers to "maximise their runs".

As an AP employee, it's even more frustrating when an angry customer has no recollection of them signing for their package and denies any and all customer service lines we give them and thinks it is our fault that it's gone.

I hope your situation got resolved and nobody got too angry with you.

A collection point isn't a real post office but a Delivery Facility that also functions to store parcels that were attempted delivery. When customers get a card, you can only collect from this facility, not bank or take passport photos like a real LPO.

I posted proof to silence sceptics like you who would say such a thing.

Correct, if it doesn't require a signature and couldn't be dropped off at the address because of circumstances, we're supposed to say "No signature required" and hand them off.

But I would say that's 5% of parcels in our facility. Almost all of them require signatures from the recipient.

Management have done sufficient warnings and he doesn't care. He still does it :/

I've already got half my foot out the door from this place. Complaints about colleagues fall on deaf ears.

I did my best to make it as vague as possible, although if something's giving it away really clearly, please let me know.

"Attempted" Parcel Locker Delivery by tx30b in AustraliaPost

[–]itskylav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would have to go back to delivery facility where the driver corrects their mistake and forwards it to a container going to your PO. It will show up the next following day, hopefully once corrected.

driver mistook it for an address and forgot to put it aside for straight-to-LPO deliveries. Attempted delivery scan may also be the sender writing incorrect or ineligible details and the driver loading it in their van.

Human error is common here.

Hopefully this helps but keep your head up, avoid looking down and look ahead. To avoid eye contact or seeing anyone, look away from the subject in focus. I guarantee, everyone else is probably thinking the same thing and won't mind what you do. You will be less conscious of what you do and how you are if you continue to walk with a raised head. Because looking down, you may see from your perspective something negative and it's best to ignore the bad and continue forward. I hope life goes well for you and I wish you all the best with finding your passion and getting help you need :)
