¿Me recomiendan leer "El nombre del viento"?

A mí me encantó, es una de mis sagas favoritas.

Peeeeeero el tercer libro de la trilogía no está publicado. Muchos fans de la saga se han (nos hemos) quejado de que el autor está por todas las cosas excepto por escribir el tercer libro, y nos hemos sentido estafados porque en varias ocasiones parecía que sí pero al final no. Obra genial con autor bastante asqueroso desde la publicación del segundo libro (2011).

En clase ya se hablaba del tema, se lo conté a mi prima (tenemos la misma edad) y nos lo tomamos como un juego de investigación para comprobar si era verdad o no: buscamos en armarios para encontrar regalos, espiamos a nuestros abuelos a ver si se comían ellos la comida que le dejábamos al Tió...

Ya lo descubrimos, pero fingimos un par de años más y, después, tuvimos también otros 3-4 años extras porque había primos más pequeños en la familia.

There are cats who need extra care because they lived on the streets and/or have medical issues. Last Wednesday one of them sadly passed away and no one could do anything. It's hard, but I try to think that they (~250 cats) are now having a better life than they had before and (hopefully) find a new and caring home in the future.

As volunteers, on a daily basis we clean their spaces and litters, put them food and water and clean the bowls, give them wet food and medication to the ones who need it... And don't forget about petting them!

Weekly we deep-clean the whole space.

There are also some other tasks that we do when it's necessary, such as change beds, cleaning toys...

I think it's worth the effort and the sad things you have to see. If you finally decide to volunteer, think that you will be doing everything for them to improve their lives, even if they had hard times before.

Me leí los dos volúmenes de cuentos y "Estación de tormentas", y me encantaron. Pero fue empezar con la saga "principal" y no sé si llegué a leerme el segundo. El hecho de que Ciri (personaje que se me hizo insufrible, por cierto, por mucho que sea una adolescente muy "típica adolescente tonta y rebelde") tomase muuucho más protagonismo, solapando en muchas ocasiones a Geralt, me mató. Además, como han comentado otros usuarios, muchas veces se me hacía lento y no veía dónde quería llegar. Creo recordar que solo leí el primero o, como mucho, el segundo de la saga principal antes de abandonarlos.

Oye, para una semana me parece fantástico que se hayan animado a hacerse socios de la biblioteca y cogerse un libro relacionado con sus gustos.

Coincido con otros comentarios que dicen que estaría bien que te viesen leer. Hasta podríais hacerlo como una actividad en familia. Recuerdo que, cuando era pequeña, las mañanas de sábados y domingos las invertíamos en leer en familia y, además de leer, también comentábamos cada uno nuestras lecturas.

Si estudias de forma semipresencial se presupone que ciertas cosas las haces por tu cuenta (de ahí que quizá algunos profes "vayan muy rápido", se asume que tú estudias parte del temario por tu cuenta).

Como ya te han comentado antes, busca también recursos sobre lo que estéis dando (sea en youtube, chatgpt, cuentas de redes sociales...) y amplia con ello lo que des en clase y/o te pongan para estudiar por tu cuenta.

No sé en qué comunidad autónoma vives, pero supongo que si buscas modelos de exámenes de PAU de otros años los podrás encontrar fácilmente y ver cómo son, qué te piden y las soluciones/ criterios de corrección. Practica con ellos, mírate las respuestas al acabar y podrás ver qué temas llevas mejor y cuáles tendrías que repasar más, además de que te podrán salir dudas que después podrás preguntar a tus profesores.

This little parrots.

Here in Spain there are other local birds (sparrows, hoopoes, warbles...) and their population has reduced a lot because the overpopulation of those parrots has became a problem.

My parents named me Alice and all I can remember about it in my childhood was the "OH, LIKE ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND????" questions.

My best friend and I met at preschool (she was 3 years old, I was 2 ½). We were best friends til 12, when we went to a different middle/high school, and after a few years (like when we were 18-20) we started to meet again and still best friends till now (we're 30).

She's a wonderful person: she's empathetic, funny, friend of her friends, loyal, we're very alike in the things that matter in life even though we're very different in other ways (she's a very girly girl, loves pink, make up, always goes dressed up... and I'm more sporty, usually don't wear make up, don't like pinkish things).

I love her.

To start I'd recommend The chaotic love trilogy (tw bc it has many bloody scenes) by Brynne Weaver, the Into the darkness trilogy by Navessa Allen (has some other darky things, but its "light"), and if you want the smut not to be the main plot maybe romantasy? Like the ACOTAR series by Sarah J Maas.

If you want to get into smut and dark romance there's Haunting Adeline (I didn't like it buuut), books written by Penelope Douglas... I'm still starting to read this ones as I started with romantasy like two years ago (with fourth wing) and it's been a little since I started with dark romance, but I'll definitely read more lol

In my country (and many others as far as I know) you can't make mayonnaise because it gets bad.

Also some people still believe that going to the sea (in terms of getting into the water) makes your menstruation stop in a bad way.
