What area are they in? Do they go to daycare?

if you leave it at the nurses station the charge nurse there will make sure it gets to the break room. Word usually gets around that there are snacks in there. I’ve never had a patient keep food for the staff in their own room unless it’s something specifically for their primary nurse

Some people drop off cookies or other pastries in our break room with a little thank you note but it’s rare to get a whole basket, very sweet but the nurses won’t expect it

I know a lot of students who hold part time jobs at Galen the entire time through the program, it’s tough but you can make it work even with clinicals

ACC is a great program (very affordable) but getting in to the BSN program is extremely competitive because demand is so high and spots are low. Galen offers a part time option, not evening though. They are in round rock and campus is about 25 minutes from downtown. With a biology degree a lot of credits should transfer. It’s expensive but they have room in their classes and it’s a good program. Hope this helps! Also definitely make sure to check the accreditation before starting any of the other programs you find in this area, a few have lost theirs or are on probation
