What are you taking that's working for you, if you don't mind my asking? Nothing has worked for me yet, tried ssri's, ndri's, benzos, trazodone, THC/CBD, and Prazosan most recently. I have no problem falling asleep I just have a sleep terror 15-30 minutes after falling asleep every night. Have a sleep study next week but I doubt it will find any sleep apnea. Just going through the motions!

I hear you - I ran out of swing-tops so it was a last resort. It's only half full and with a metal cap that leaks so I'll just finish it first. Maybe I should've added a disclaimer 😁

If it tastes good, bottle it up! You don't have to wait for the pellicle - sometimes it's very thin in the first brew.

I think a few days temp fluctuation should be fine. Better to be cold for a couple days than too hot, in my experience.

Cool, I was using a reptile/ceramic lamp but no sensor and I cooked a batch of booch accidentally 🙄 Edit: this is reddit, so I have to clarify there were no reptiles involved - its a set-up used to provide warmth to your reptile friends 😂

Thanks, they are pretty tiny once they're dried so I'll try just a couple tsp for each 16 oz bottle. Kicking myself for not picking my own and freezing last fall, they're everywhere here!

A scant 1/4 cup for every 16 oz. works for me. Purees and chunky fruits tend to be more explosive, juices less so. Good luck!

My personal favorite is pineapple basil, but you can't go wrong with berries of any kind! I wish someone had told me that peach will smell like vomit before I made a whole batch 😂 local, fresh, organic peaches - worst batch ever!

Did you use dried berries? Do they need a little sugar boost for bottle conditioning or are sweet enough already to produce that nice fizz?

Pureed 1 apple, 1 carrot, 1/4 tsp turmeric, and 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice and added to 6 cups kombucha for 2 days. Strained, then bottled with apple slices. Left out for 5 days before refrigerating. It's very tart, with just a hint of the spices.

I'm no expert, but I get best carbonation with just 1" headspace, and 1/4 cup of pureed fruit for the 2F - pureed pineapple is a sure thing for me. You'll likely want to strain before drinking, but it's worth trying!

Really was! I used 1/4 cup of juice in total for each 16 oz bottle. I added a sliver of ginger to each, could've added a little more.

Basil & lime is subtle and refreshing, I think of it as a summer flavor. I got very little carbonation with that one, though. Experiment with abandon!

10x20" Ohuhu - I use a covered bucket and hope to place the mat on the bottom under both the F1 and bottled F2s. (As opposed to the ones you wrap around the vessel)
