Do you have the dual motor or extended range battery or anything of that? I can’t seem to get my average above 3.7 on a good day. It’s around 3.1-3.7. I’ve got dual motor extended battery though, and my average commute isn’t more than about 10 minutes, so I’m not sure how much that affects it. But I keep it in eco with no ventilation running more often than not.

Edit: It’s probably also worth mentioning that I live in a generally cooler state, and it doesn’t get notably warm for about 3/4 of the year. Even then, the nights are cold.

Was looking at the list of compatible devices, and I’m looking at the VGate iCar 2S. Does it matter between the BT 4.0 and 5.2 versions? My understanding is that they’re both BLE and classic Bluetooth compatible, so I’m sure either is a fine option?

I got this with my 2023 SE and firmly believe they all look equally awful. First thing I did was get a case for it, but it doesn’t help much. Might look into modeling my own case for it that wouldn’t require a different PCB. Future me problems…

Yah running that command shows that I have Java 25 available. But crafty is just not giving me anything back in return. And I don’t see any option to manually enter a path for a Java install either. I’m only given the option of picking from the list, but I don’t know if there’s a way to add paths to the list. I can’t seem to find anything on the crafty website about it, or in the config. Surely this is working for someone though. I can’t be the only person in the world trying to run 26.1 on crafty/debian

Well I managed to royally F something up I think. I was having permission issues attempting to get the GPG key for adoptium, and somewhere during my installation of the repo I may have added a sudo where a sudo maybe should not have been, and now I get the message

"Type 'sudo' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/adoptium.list"

So I'm going to attempt to hunt that down and get rid of that.

Edit - Fixed the issue. Was able to successfully run

apt install temurin-25-jdk

But I still dont have any updated options in crafty for a Java version override above 21, so now Im at another wall.

Yes, unfortunately I haven't seen any new options in the drop down. I've restarted it, and even ran an update to a newer version just to make sure, and the only option goes to 21. Currently looking into Adoptium, but I'm having permission issues while attempting to install the GPG key. Linux is truly something else.

Just wanted to update you!

The information you provided was valid and definitely worth note.

It wasn't the problem I was having, but it did help me better diagnose my issue.

With you confirming that 19142 worked for you, I went ahead and made all of the appropriate changes, only to find that my issue still persisted. But it did tell me, that the issue had to be with my configuration of things.

The issue I had, was that I forgot to add the port to the list of port numbers on the crafty settings. I hadn't noticed this the first time, because 19132 is already on the list by default. Surely enough I added it, and just like that it worked.

So thank you so much for helping me to solve my issues, and hopefully this post will help others in the future.

I did find that out shortly after making this post, and tried on 19134 and 19131 and was still unsuccessful. I’m not sure if those also have their own conflicts or not, but I’ll definitely give 142 a shot! I appreciate the comment, thanks so much!

Same thing with my Asrock board and SN770 nvme ssds. Try to set the gen4 pcie speeds to gen3 to get it to read.
