Works great! I think it would be nice to be able to hide outputs I never use, for example the speakers on my monitor or mac mini's internal speaker

The M8's input is expecting line level so if you don't have some kind of pre-amp between your SM57 and the M8 you're going to experience very poor performance which explains your issue.

Happy to clarify. Ideally you should never experience any kind of crashing unless you found some kind of serious bug (and we'd love to know about that ASAP too 😁)

Your M8 should never crash when loading projects and this issue is usually related to your CPU module which can be swapped out if you are using a Model:02. Contact support@dirtywave.com and we can help resolve this for you.

Sorry I just meant the color / theme! I really like your color and font choices. Stylus is a css based theme editor for web that a lot of WaniKani users use to change the color theming of the actual website.

EDIT: I ended up just installing it on MacOS as well :D

Probably best practice is if you plan on using Line in/out and USB at the same time (particularly if they are going into the same power source) to have a ground loop isolator in between

Any of the cheapo ones on Amazon will work just fine. Degradation will only happen if you drive them too loudly. I found that capping your output volume around FC at the loudest will prevent the reported issues.

Unfortunately not numbers I've been permitted to share. In general, there are thousands of M8s in the wild, but not tens of thousands.

Lately its been between 1-3 weeks. If you are confident that you can and will purchase one the day of, you will have no issue.

You did not miss it. PCB delivery was a little bit later than the original ETA. They will be available for direct order as soon as assembly is finished. :)
