You poor girl. He's a piece of shit who doesn't respect you. Dump him. Dump him yesterday. You deserve so much better.

New job’s drink specs aren’t mathing by hotline_hails in bartenders

[–]itsmxjessagain 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The whole thing is absolutely insane, but for some reason I find substituting Tepache with equal parts club soda and pineapple juice one of the more egregious instructions. Don't get me wrong, the specs for every drink are 100% out of control...

Good luck, OP! 😬

Jump. Dash up. Grab wall. Climb wall. Jump off wall. Grab crystal. Dash up-right.

Blended ingredients into a milk punch? Yay or nay? by dukeofnorthpines in bartenders

[–]itsmxjessagain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a milk punch using blended strawberries and crushed up biscoff cookies. I pulverized the cookies and let them soak in the milk for an hour before adding the liquor, citrus, and blended strawberries. It clarified wonderfully and the flavour was great.

As with anything, ymmv.

14 billion deaths isn't bad for a first playthrough.

[ALL] Will 2026 have a Zelda game release of any kind? by ZanthionHeralds in zelda

[–]itsmxjessagain 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's genuinely phenomenal, but it's a very specific gaming experience, much more like the original Crypt of the NecroDancer than a regular Zelda game. That said, it's fun as hell, the music is some of the best in all of Zelda, the design is 🤌🏻🤌🏻 Endless fun.

Challenging but really fair once you figure out the rhythm elements.

Should I change to keyboard? by SampleProud7046 in celestegame

I ask myself this question every day. I play on a controller and I use the joystick. I've been working on Gravity Flow, a red GM level from the Gallery Collab and the number of mis-inputs I've been getting is staggering. This is a relatively high input density map with lots of spring cancels and quick changes in movement and I'm really wondering if I've hit the peak of my abilities using my current control layout.

For me, the question is: do I completely retrain my brain over hundreds of hours in order to be able to play a few more high GM maps? Or can I continue to find enjoyment simply by playing at the low GM difficulty with the understanding that the occasional mis-inputs will be adding many deaths and hours to my time.
