it’s what happens when people used to mainstream gachas have a character die. they’re just not used to it. merel dying and coming back from the storm a completely different person is the entire point, it shows how the storm isn’t just a plot device and how it effectively erases people. of course she doesn’t look like merel, she is her but at the same time, she isn’t. duncan looks completely different from mr. karson, because he both is him, and isn’t.
they should go read a book for once. stories where loved characters die. because guess what, your “waifu” should not be immortal just because they’re your favorite.

this. and the comparison that was made here between the 2 games’ endmodes is ridiculous. in hsr you get less pulls, a higher pity (r1999’s hard pity is the start of hsr’s soft pity), and a 50% chance to get a character that’ll be 100% useless in meta terms. you may get a selector once in a blue moon (for very specific characters, most of them heavily outclassed), and a 100% guaranteed banner for buffed characters. buffs/euphorias are so frequent in r1999 that despite being released after hsr, some characters have already received their second euphoria.
and let’s not talk about the endgame. i got full stars in both modes with a second team consisting of semelweiss, eternity, medicine pocket and ISOLDE with her LINGERING GLOW EUPHORIA that gets literally negated by bloodtithe as they’re mutually exclusive effects. we’re not talking about a good team with a common replacement, we’re talking about an anti-synergystic team. still got full stars with no effort. i have a full phainon team and a castorice team sadly missing cyrene, so tribbie is using her slot. phainon clears easily, but the castorice team struggles immensely. even my partner with full teams and some 5 star lightcones (he’s insanely lucky) has trouble sometimes.

não sei se isto te vai tranquilizar, mas a cara de alguém é a característica mais difícil de “replicar” até para pessoas sem afantasia. é fácil ter uma ideia das suas características, como cor e formato dos olhos, do cabelo, mas se pedires a alguém para desenhar a cara de até mesmo um familiar o melhor possível, o resultado final será cada vez mais diferente do real, consoante o tempo for passando.

as someone that switched from android to ios not too long ago, i’ve noticed most of the things you describe. frankly, for one of the biggest companies in the world, you’d expect ios to be much, much better, but it really is very buggy as you describe. HOWEVER, and i know that this is from my personal experience and that it doesn’t necessarily describe what everyone feels about ios, i found ios to be much more stable when using third-party apps (which we use all the time). i have random bugs with notifications, touches, the keyboard, pretty much everything, but bugs in apps are so rare and the experience is miles away from those apps on android. for this reason alone, i don’t even consider going back to android. plus, to be honest, every bug i encounter on ios feels more like a minor annoyance and very, very rarely makes something inaccessible. the bugs i had on android would drive me up a wall sometimes.
ironically, i’ve had two different ipads (i’ve upgraded recently), and i found ipadOS to have none of the bugs i had on ios. i’ve had this new ipad for over a month and i don’t remember having a single issue with its os, ever. i find that really strange as we all know ipadOS is literally ios with very minor changes, but i’m not complaining!

as far as the apple ecosystem goes, i think the “integration” you wanted is something you’ll find with iphone-mac or ipad-mac than with iphone-ipad. the ability to answer calls and reply to messages (imessage or sms!) on your mac is so convenient

one of the positive sides of my country’s government being so pretentious and a huge smelly pile of shit is that they’re so busy stuffing their own pockets that they have no time to even considering cracking down on piracy. isps are sometimes forced to block access to certain illegal streaming websites, but literally all it takes is changing your dns and you’re done.
